외화부채 급증은 미국에 혼다 전용 배터리 공장 투자의 LG에너지솔루션이 지난해 말 3조4119억원에서 올해 6월 4조2493억원으로 24.5% 급증했다.
미국 투자를 확대하는 삼성SDI의 외화 단기차입금은 6개월 사이에 8357억원에서 9674억원으로 15.7% 증가했다.
LG화학의 올해 상반기 외화 부채는 3조8554억원으로 지난해 말 3조1035억원보다 24.2% 증가했고 한화솔루션의 외화 단기차입액은 지난해 말 7306억원에서 상반기에 9061억원으로 24% 급증했다.
산업부의 해외직접투자 유치 보고서는 올 상반기 외국인 직접투자 유치액(신고기준)이 전년 대비 15.6% 감소한 110억9천만달러이고, 1분기 한국에서 유출된 해외직접투자는 지난해 같은 기간보다 두 배 이상의 123.9% 늘어난 254억달러로 밝혔다.
