재기 발랄한 석 달 된 태아는 자신을 사라지게 하려고 철두철미하게 준비하는 엄마에게 서운 하다. 태아는 과연 자신이 세상 밖으로 나갈 수 있을지 없을 지의 고민으로 힘겨운 나날을 보낸다.

마름모꼴 진흙덩어리들에게 잡아 먹히는 악몽으로 시달리고, 처음 듣는 어떤 나라에서 돌팔이의사가 뱃속에서 태아를 꺼내 우물에 풍덩- 빠뜨렸다는 뉴스를 듣고 아연실색한다. 자신의 존재를 반기거나 알아주는 사람은 전혀 없고, 사라지게만 하려는 일관된 환경에 좌절한다. 하지만 자신보다 더 가혹한 환경에서도 담담하게 버티고 있는 다른 태아친구들을 만나면서 용기를 얻는다. 16주된 태아친구와 3일 후면 세상 밖으로 나갈 태아친구 그리고 장애를 가진 태아친구. 갑작스런 아빠의 해고 소식까지 겹치자 태아의 소망은 자꾸 멀어져만 간다.

The sprightly three-month old foetus feels hurt that its mother prepares for abortion very thoroughly. It spends hard times on asking that question whether it can go out to the world or not.

It suffers from nightmares in which it is eaten by lumps of clay in a diamond shape, and it is shocked by the news that a quack pulls out a foetus out of the womb and drops it into the well in a far away land. It feels frustrated in the condition that nobody knows or greets its being, and moreover, there is a great chance to be removed. In the meanwhile, it happens to meet other friends, who calmly puts up with the more severe conditions. It takes courage from other foetus friends including one who is 16 weeks, another who is supposed to be born in 3 days, and the other who has disabilities. Suddenly, its daddy is dismissed and its wishes to be born might be drifted away.

形成生命才三个月的朝气蓬勃的胎儿，对于想要让自己消失而进行彻底准备的妈妈会而感到心里不是滋味。胎儿就这样带着对于自己是否能来到这个世上的担忧而煎熬度过每一天。

饱受被泥土吞噬的噩梦的煎熬，再加上第一听到在某个国家一个赤脚医生把从腹中取出的胎儿扑通一下扔进了井中的新闻后，更是愕然失色。对于自己的存在，完全没有人感到喜悦，也没有人了解他。他对于只希望自己消失的大环境而感到无比挫折。但是，在遇见了处于比自己所处的环境更加恶劣却能堂堂正正面对困难的其它胎儿朋友们后，自己也产生了勇气。16周的胎儿朋友、3日后就能看见世界的胎儿朋友，以及患有残疾的胎儿朋友。

突然又传来爸爸被解雇的消息，这让胎儿的希望变得更加遥远。
