Kim Gil-li adds another bronze medal for Team Korea in short track


South Korean athletes look to add more medals over the coming days at the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics after short-track skater Kim Gil-li secures bronze for Team Korea's sixth medal overall. Park Jun-han starts us off. Team Korea added another short track medal at this year's Winter Olympics as Kim Gil-li claimed bronze in the women's short track 1-thousand-meters final on Monday. Short track star Choi Min-jeong had been among the favorites for the event, but she missed out on the final, finishing third in the B final.

Kim Gil-li's bronze is Team Korea's sixth medal of the Games. This came just two days after Hwang Dae-heon 's silver in the men's 1-thousand-500 meters.
