S&P 500 and Nasdaq Hit Records After Report Shows Slowing Inflation (WSJ. 20250910)

U.S. stocks closed mixed today after new data showed wholesale inflation unexpectedly slipped. The report bolstered investor confidence that the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates soon.
