Breakbulk Europe 2025 is set to be a landmark event, celebrating its 20th anniversary as the world’s largest exhibition for the project cargo and breakbulk industry. The event will take place from 13–15 May 2025 at Rotterdam Ahoy in the Netherlands.

This year marks the first time the event will span a full three days, providing attendees with extended opportunities for networking, education, and business development. 
Key Highlights
• Expanded Exhibition Space: A new hall adjacent to Hall 2 will be added to accommodate a record number of exhibitors, enhancing accessibility and the overall experience. 
• “Superhighways”: Wider aisles will be introduced throughout the venue to facilitate smoother navigation and better access to key areas like the Main Stage and Breakbulk Futures. 
• Main Stage & Education Day: Industry leaders will share insights on market trends, global project outlooks, and emerging opportunities. Education Day will introduce students to the world of breakbulk and project cargo. 
• Workshops: Sessions will cover topics such as chartering principles, heavy-lift logistics, and the application of AI in transport engineering and supply chain tracking. 
• Women in Breakbulk Program: An expanded program including a networking lounge, evening activities, and a signature breakfast to support and celebrate women in the industry. 
• Networking Events:
• Breakbulk Boulevard Party: An evening street party with food, drinks, and music for informal networking.
• Port of Rotterdam Boat Tour: A water tour offering a firsthand look at specialized heavy-lift and multipurpose breakbulk terminals.
• BUSINESSrun: A 5K morning run supporting the Mission to Seafarers charity. 
• Breakbulk Green World Awards: Recognizing companies contributing to a sustainable future in the project cargo and breakbulk sector.

• Accessibility: Easily reachable via public transport, with the Zuidplein metro and bus stop nearby. Rotterdam The Hague Airport is also in close proximity.
