안녕, 언니! 나 토토야. 무지개나라에서 언니를 바라보며 이렇게 편지를 써. 여긴 정말 예쁘고 평화로운 곳이야. 꽃들도 많고, 푸른 초원도 끝없이 펼쳐져 있어. 여기서 나는 친구들도 사귀고, 자유롭게 뛰어다니고 있어. 하지만 언니가 너무 그리워.
오늘 언니의 하루를 지켜봤어. 아침에 일어나서 창밖을 바라보며 잠시 나를 생각하는 것 같더라. 근데 어제 대체 밤에 뭐 먹고 잤어? 얼굴이 좀 부었던데.
그리고 거실로 가서 커피머신 버튼을 누르는 모습도 봤지. 늘 그랬듯 눈을 반쯤 감은 채로 ㅎㅎ
출근 준비를 하고 나서는 문 앞에서 잠시 멈춰서 나를 떠올리는 것 같았어. 문 밖으로 나서는 그 순간, 내가 항상 언니를 따라나가고 싶어 했던 생각이 났어. 언니가 출근하는 동안 나는 언니를 생각하며 이곳에서 놀고 있었어. 언니가 일하는 모습도 멀리서 지켜봤어. 열심히 일하는 언니 모습.
저녁엔 언니가 집에 돌아와서 피곤한 얼굴로 소파에 앉았지. 나와 함께 있던 시간들이 생각나서 잠시 울컥하는 것 같았는데 곧 웃으면서 나를 떠올리는 것 같더라. 나도 그 순간 언니에게 가고 싶었어. 언니가 나를 기억하며 웃어줄 때, 나도 행복해.
그리고 언니가 잠들기 전에 내가 자주 누워있던 언니의 침대 옆, 그 자리에 앉아서 마치 내가 거기 아직 있는 것처럼 이야기하던 모습도 봤어. 나는 다 듣고, 다 보고 있어. 언니가 나를 그리워할 때마다, 나는 여기서 언니를 지켜보며 웃고 있을 거야.
언니, 내일은 더 행복한 하루가 될 거야. 언니가 행복해야 나도 여기서 더 행복할 수 있어. 사랑해, 언니!

Hi, Sis! It's Toto. I'm writing to you from Rainbow Bridge, watching over you. This place is so beautiful and peaceful. There are lots of flowers and endless green meadows. I've made friends here and run around freely. But I miss you so much.
I watched your day today. In the morning, you woke up and looked out the window, thinking of me for a moment. By the way, what did you eat last night? Your face looked a bit puffy. Then I saw you go to the living room and press the button on the coffee machine.
I remembered the times when I would curl up beside you. Do you remember how we used to enjoy the smell of coffee together?
When you were getting ready to leave, you paused by the door and thought of me. When you stepped outside, I remembered how I always wanted to follow you. While you were at work, I was playing here, thinking of you. I watched you work hard. You are amazing, working so diligently!
In the evening, you came home and sat on the couch, looking tired. I saw you think about our times together and get a bit teary, but then you smiled remembering me. I wanted to come to you right then. When you remember me with a smile, it makes me happy too.
