Do most people in your country prefer traditional medicine ("Hahn-Yak"), modern medicine, or a combination of the two?

I'll tell you only my case because I don't know whether most people in our country prefer which one. I prefer western medicine than Korean medicine because it makes me believe on the effect. The reason why I believe as the above is that the western medicine is made for the effect on the special symptom. While the Korean medicine looks being made for all our body for the good health only, not for the special symptom. The another reason why I prefer western medicine is that I heard many words about bad effect on eating Korean medicine, which the liver becomes very bad after eating it. They say it's very easy to hurt our liver to eat Korean medicine frequently. It makes me more not believe on the Korean Medicine. I can see many people who eat Korean medicine annually just for the health, but I don't. I can't believe on that effect what they are saying very good for health. When I visited drug store to get the medicine for the stomach ache, they suggested the Korean Medicine to eat for one month with very expensive price. I knew later that store was notorious to sell it.
