외군인 입원 환자를 관리하면서 그들의 문화를 접할 기회가 적지 않다. 그중에서도 감사의 마음을 글로 표현한다는 것이다. 직접 전달해 주기도 하지만 아래와 같이 병원사이트에 직접 올리기도 한다. 실제 내용을 옮겨 적으려 한다.
First of all, I want to thank all the Professors and Doctors for their Professional operational ethics making sure that I was treated professionally and medically well.
Secondly, I would like to thank Mrs. Julie J. and all the nurses for their hospitality and care that they were always making sure that I got the medications and all that I needed all the time at the right time.
I also want to thank you Mrs. Lee, Y. J and Mrs. Lydia Y. for all their help from the day I was admitted to the hospital until the day I was released.
For the kitchen personnel, I want to thank Mrs. cha and everybody for all their help, making sure that I was surved the right menu with the right nutrition.
There were two ladies that I didn't even know who they were but whoever they were, I really appreciateded what they did for me. All of these will stay with me forever.
All I could say is, " I was served well, thank you very much and I really appreciated all that everyons had done for me and I am really greatful".
I would definitely recommend anybody to comt to OO University Hospital for treatment. And again, thank you and may God bless.
입원해 있는 동안 돌봐야 주었던 직원에게 감사의 마음을 전달한 글의 내용을 모든 직원들과 공유했습니다. 타국의 병원에서 치료를 받는다는 것이 환자에게 심리적으로 많은 불안감이 있을 수밖에 없는 상황에서 의료진, 그리고 병원의 모든 직원들이 같은 마음으로 그 불안의 마음을 조금이라고 해소할 수 있도록 그 들의 문화를 이해하고 정확한 설명과 안내를 할 수 있도록 사전 준비를 하고, 추후 개선할 내용이 있는지 파악하는 등의 업무를 담당하면서 또 다른 배움은 외국인환자 관리 코디네이터 업무의 보람이기도 합니다.
