가장 짧지만 가장 책임 있는 단어는 ‘Yes or No’입니다. 할 수 있는 것은 ‘Yes’로 대답하고, 할 수 없는 것은 ‘No’로 명확히 대답해야 합니다. 우물쭈물하다가는 자신에게 모든 책임이 돌아옵니다. 명확하게 대답하지 않고, 왜 내가 책임져야 하냐고 하소연해도 아무 소용이 없습니다. 명확한 의사표시는 성숙한 사람의 가장 기본적인 태도입니다.

The shortest but most responsible word is ‘Yes or No’. You should clearly answer ‘Yes’ to what you can do and ‘No’ to what you cannot do. If you hesitate, all responsibility can come back to you. There is no use in complaining about why I should be responsible without answering clearly. Clear expression of intention is the most basic attitude of a mature person.
