"How dare you betray me, you filthy little bastard! I did my best,"

she screamed as she broke into sobs.

"I did my best to satisfy you!"

He stretched out his hand to comfort her, but she gesticulated a clear sign of rejection. And a couple things occurred in that moment to Alexander. First, not only was this slimy bastard having relations with his sister and his ex, but he had likely cheated on both with other women as well.

Second, his ex Violet was angry that Lucas, the guy she was sleeping with behind Alexander’s back, had cheated on her. She's a hypocrite, he thought, and this brought him a strange satisfaction in his anger.

A thought struck Alexander: I need to check his identity.

But he couldn’t reveal himself as a police officer. Sometimes you need to be nasty in the same way when you have to handle something or someone who's dirty. Searching his memory, he thought of the murder case he had been responsible for a few years ago.

An obscure male model reported that he had been threatened by an unknown fellow, and was found dead, missing his head. The criminal was an organized crime boss. The motive of the murder concerned the only daughter of this gangster and her relationship with the murdered model. He broke up with her after she gave him her money and her heart.

But the problem was that she was not the only victim defrauded by this man. The model, who was already deceased, had several other relationships simultaneously with a myriad of other women and took some "help" from them, with the amount of the "donation" exceeding tens of thousands dollars in all. His brain memorized clearly all contents and circumstances of the murderer’s blackmail.

It was a bit of a sorry case for the deceased to have to repeat the threats he had already gone through long before, but, given Alexander’s mood in this very moment, any kind of crime, no matter how filthy, could inspire intuition.

"So it turns out that you cheated on both of them, my girlfriend and my sister. You revealed your true character. So, I want to know a little bit more about you. Tell me your name. Your real name. This is not a joke! Date of birth, and address too. Or you want my guys to drop by this place right now and teach you a lesson for my sister’s sake?”

“Wh― Why should I do that?”

He slurred his speech. Alexander chuckled with a vulgar expression.
