성령은 진리니라

개역개정 요한일서 5장
3. 하나님을 사랑하는 것은 이것이니 우리가 그의 계명들을 지키는 것이라 그의 계명들은 무거운 것이 아니로다
For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome.
4. 무릇 하나님께로부터 난 자마다 세상을 이기느니라 세상을 이기는 승리는 이것이니 우리의 믿음이니라
For whoever has been born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world: our faith.
5. 예수께서 하나님의 아들이심을 믿는 자가 아니면 세상을 이기는 자가 누구냐
Who is the one who overcomes the world, but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
6. 이는 물과 피로 임하신 이시니 곧 예수 그리스도시라 물로만 아니요 물과 피로 임하셨고 증언하는 이는 성령이시니 성령은 진리니라
This is the One who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and with the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.
7. 증언하는 이가 셋이니
For there are three that testify:
8. 성령과 물과 피라 또한 이 셋은 합하여 하나이니라
the Spirit and the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement.
