너희는 금식일을 정하고 성회를 소집하여

개역개정 요엘 1장
13. ○제사장들아 너희는 굵은 베로 동이고 슬피 울지어다 제단에 수종드는 자들아 너희는 울지어다 내 하나님께 수종드는 자들아 너희는 와서 굵은 베 옷을 입고 밤이 새도록 누울지어다 이는 소제와 전제를 너희 하나님의 성전에 드리지 못함이로다
¶Put on sackcloth
And mourn, you priests;
Wail, you ministers of the altar!
Come, spend the night in sackcloth,
You ministers of my God,
For the grain offering and the drink offering
Have been withheld from the house of your God.
14. 너희는 금식일을 정하고 성회를 소집하여 장로들과 이 땅의 모든 주민들을 너희 하나님 여호와의 성전으로 모으고 여호와께 부르짖을지어다
Consecrate a fast,
Proclaim a solemn assembly;
Gather the elders
And all the inhabitants of the land
To the house of the Lord your God,
And cry out to the Lord.
15. 슬프다 그 날이여 여호와의 날이 가까웠나니 곧 멸망 같이 전능자에게로부터 이르리로다
Woe for the day!
For the day of the Lord is near,
And it will come as destruction from the Almighty.
16. 먹을 것이 우리 눈 앞에 끊어지지 아니하였느냐 기쁨과 즐거움이 우리 하나님의 성전에서 끊어지지 아니하였느냐
Has food not been cut off before our eyes, and
Joy and rejoicing from the house of our God?
17. 씨가 흙덩이 아래에서 썩어졌고 창고가 비었고 곳간이 무너졌으니 이는 곡식이 시들었음이로다
The seeds have dried up under their shovels;
The storehouses have become desolate,
The grain silos are ruined,
Because the grain has dried up.
18. 가축이 울부짖고 소 떼가 소란하니 이는 꼴이 없음이라 양 떼도 피곤하도다
How the animals have groaned!
The herds of cattle have wandered aimlessly
Because there is no pasture for them;
Even the flocks of sheep have suffered.
19. 여호와여 내가 주께 부르짖으오니 불이 목장의 풀을 살랐고 불꽃이 들의 모든 나무를 살랐음이니이다
To You, Lord, I cry out;
For fire has devoured the pastures of the wilderness,
And the flame has burned up all the trees of the field.
20. 들짐승도 주를 향하여 헐떡거리오니 시내가 다 말랐고 들의 풀이 불에 탔음이니이다
Even the animals of the field pant for You;
For the stream beds of water are dried up,
And fire has devoured the pastures of the wilderness.
