개역개정 욥기 4장

17. 사람이 어찌 하나님보다 의롭겠느냐 사람이 어찌 그 창조하신 이보다 깨끗하겠느냐

‘Can mankind be righteous before God?

Can a man be pure before his Maker?

18. 하나님은 그의 종이라도 그대로 믿지 아니하시며 그의 천사라도 미련하다 하시나니

‘He puts no trust even in His servants;

And He accuses His angels of error.

19. 하물며 흙 집에 살며 티끌로 터를 삼고 하루살이 앞에서라도 무너질 자이겠느냐

‘How much more those who live in houses of clay,

Whose foundation is in the dust,

Who are crushed before the moth!

20. 아침과 저녁 사이에 부스러져 가루가 되며 영원히 사라지되 기억하는 자가 없으리라

‘Between morning and evening they are broken in pieces;

Unregarded, they perish forever.

21. 장막 줄이 그들에게서 뽑히지 아니하겠느냐 그들은 지혜가 없이 죽느니라

‘Is their tent-cord not pulled out within them?

They die, yet without wisdom.’
