개역개정 시편 51편
1. 하나님이여 주의 인자를 따라 내게 은혜를 베푸시며 주의 많은 긍휼을 따라 내 죄악을 지워 주소서
Be gracious to me, God, according to Your faithfulness;
According to the greatness of Your compassion, wipe out my wrongdoings.
2. 나의 죄악을 말갛게 씻으시며 나의 죄를 깨끗이 제하소서
Wash me thoroughly from my guilt
And cleanse me from my sin.
3. 무릇 나는 내 죄과를 아오니 내 죄가 항상 내 앞에 있나이다
For I know my wrongdoings,
And my sin is constantly before me.
4. 내가 주께만 범죄하여 주의 목전에 악을 행하였사오니 주께서 말씀하실 때에 의로우시다 하고 주께서 심판하실 때에 순전하시다 하리이다
Against You, You only, I have sinned
And done what is evil in Your sight,
So that You are justified when You speak
And blameless when You judge.
5. 내가 죄악 중에서 출생하였음이여 어머니가 죄 중에서 나를 잉태하였나이다
¶Behold, I was brought forth in guilt,
And in sin my mother conceived me.
6. 보소서 주께서는 중심이 진실함을 원하시오니 내게 지혜를 은밀히 가르치시리이다
Behold, You desire truth in the innermost being,
And in secret You will make wisdom known to me.
7. 우슬초로 나를 정결하게 하소서 내가 정하리이다 나의 죄를 씻어 주소서 내가 눈보다 희리이다
Purify me with hyssop, and I will be clean;
Cleanse me, and I will be whiter than snow.
8. 내게 즐겁고 기쁜 소리를 들려 주시사 주께서 꺾으신 뼈들도 즐거워하게 하소서
Let me hear joy and gladness,
Let the bones You have broken rejoice.
9. 주의 얼굴을 내 죄에서 돌이키시고 내 모든 죄악을 지워 주소서
Hide Your face from my sins
And wipe out all my guilty deeds.
10. 하나님이여 내 속에 정한 마음을 창조하시고 내 안에 정직한 영을 새롭게 하소서
¶Create in me a clean heart, God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
11. 나를 주 앞에서 쫓아내지 마시며 주의 성령을 내게서 거두지 마소서
Do not cast me away from Your presence,
And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.
12. 주의 구원의 즐거움을 내게 회복시켜 주시고 자원하는 심령을 주사 나를 붙드소서
Restore to me the joy of Your salvation,
And sustain me with a willing spirit.
13. 그리하면 내가 범죄자에게 주의 도를 가르치리니 죄인들이 주께 돌아오리이다
Then I will teach wrongdoers Your ways,
And sinners will be converted to You.
14. 하나님이여 나의 구원의 하나님이여 피 흘린 죄에서 나를 건지소서 내 혀가 주의 의를 높이 노래하리이다
¶Save me from the guilt of bloodshed, God, the God of my salvation;
Then my tongue will joyfully sing of Your righteousness.
15. 주여 내 입술을 열어 주소서 내 입이 주를 찬송하여 전파하리이다
Lord, open my lips,
So that my mouth may declare Your praise.
16. 주께서는 제사를 기뻐하지 아니하시나니 그렇지 아니하면 내가 드렸을 것이라 주는 번제를 기뻐하지 아니하시나이다
For You do not delight in sacrifice, otherwise I would give it;
You do not take pleasure in burnt offering.
17. 하나님께서 구하시는 제사는 상한 심령이라 하나님이여 상하고 통회하는 마음을 주께서 멸시하지 아니하시리이다
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit;
A broken and a contrite heart, God, You will not despise.
