개역개정 시편 58편
1. 통치자들아 너희가 정의를 말해야 하거늘 어찌 잠잠하냐 인자들아 너희가 올바르게 판결해야 하거늘 어찌 잠잠하냐
Do you indeed speak righteousness, you gods?
Do you judge fairly, you sons of mankind?
2. 아직도 너희가 중심에 악을 행하며 땅에서 너희 손으로 폭력을 달아 주는도다
No, in heart you practice injustice;
On earth you clear a way for the violence of your hands.
3. 악인은 모태에서부터 멀어졌음이여 나면서부터 곁길로 나아가 거짓을 말하는도다
The wicked have turned away from the womb;
These who speak lies go astray from birth.
4. 그들의 독은 뱀의 독 같으며 그들은 귀를 막은 귀머거리 독사 같으니
They have venom like the venom of a serpent;
Like a deaf cobra that stops up its ear,
5. 술사의 홀리는 소리도 듣지 않고 능숙한 술객의 요술도 따르지 아니하는 독사로다
So that it does not hear the voice of charmers,
Or a skillful caster of spells.
6. 하나님이여 그들의 입에서 이를 꺾으소서 여호와여 젊은 사자의 어금니를 꺾어 내시며
¶God, shatter their teeth in their mouth;
Break out the fangs of the young lions, Lord.
7. 그들이 급히 흐르는 물 같이 사라지게 하시며 겨누는 화살이 꺾임 같게 하시며
May they flow away like water that runs off;
When he aims his arrows, may they be as headless shafts.
8. 소멸하여 가는 달팽이 같게 하시며 만삭 되지 못하여 출생한 아이가 햇빛을 보지 못함 같게 하소서
May they be like a snail which goes along in slime,
Like the miscarriage of a woman that never sees the sun.
9. 가시나무 불이 가마를 뜨겁게 하기 전에 생나무든지 불 붙는 나무든지 강한 바람으로 휩쓸려가게 하소서
Before your pots can feel the fire of thorns
He will sweep them away with a whirlwind, the green and the burning alike.
10. 의인이 악인의 보복 당함을 보고 기뻐함이여 그의 발을 악인의 피에 씻으리로다
¶The righteous will rejoice when he sees vengeance;
He will wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.
11. 그 때에 사람의 말이 진실로 의인에게 갚음이 있고 진실로 땅에서 심판하시는 하나님이 계시다 하리로다
And people will say, “There certainly is a reward for the righteous;
There certainly is a God who judges on the earth!”
