개역개정 욥기 5장
2. 분노가 미련한 자를 죽이고 시기가 어리석은 자를 멸하느니라
“For irritation kills the fool,
And jealousy brings death to the simple.
3. 내가 미련한 자가 뿌리 내리는 것을 보고 그의 집을 당장에 저주하였노라
“I have seen the fool taking root,
And I cursed his home immediately.
4. 그의 자식들은 구원에서 멀고 성문에서 억눌리나 구하는 자가 없으며
“His sons are far from safety,
They are also oppressed at the gate,
And there is no one to save them.
5. 그가 추수한 것은 주린 자가 먹되 덫에 걸린 것도 빼앗으며 올무가 그의 재산을 향하여 입을 벌리느니라
“The hungry devour his harvest
And take it to a place of thorns,
And the schemer is eager for their wealth.
6. 재난은 티끌에서 일어나는 것이 아니며 고생은 흙에서 나는 것이 아니니라
“For disaster does not come from the dust,
Nor does trouble sprout from the ground,
7. 사람은 고생을 위하여 났으니 불꽃이 위로 날아 가는 것 같으니라
For man is born for trouble,
As sparks fly upward.
8. ○나라면 하나님을 찾겠고 내 일을 하나님께 의탁하리라
¶“But as for me, I would seek God,
And I would make my plea before God,
9. 하나님은 헤아릴 수 없이 큰 일을 행하시며 기이한 일을 셀 수 없이 행하시나니
Who does great and unsearchable things,
Wonders without number.
