20. 가라사대 너희 믿음이 적은 연고니라 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 너희가 만일 믿음이 한 겨자씨만큼만 있으면 이 산을 명하여 여기서 저기로 옮기라 하여도 옮길 것이요 또 너희가 못할 것이 없으리라
20. He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
27. 그러나 우리가 저희로 오해케 하지 않기 위하여 네가 바다에 가서 낚시를 던져 먼저 오르는 고기를 가져 입을 열면 돈 한 세겔을 얻을 것이니 가져다가 나와 너를 위하여 주라 하시니라
27. “But so that we may not cause offense, go to the lake and throw out your line. Take the first fish you catch; open its mouth and you will find a four-drachma coin. Take it and give it to them for my tax and yours.”
Without faith, we cannot make God happy, and this Word is applied to me as well. I feel like that i have little faith toward my children, in particular, about their faith. However, I would start again to pray for their faith and their future spousers, as well as my future job of interpreting for foreign patients in English. And also about my routine work of doing this meditation and sharing it here, and the plan of sharing it again on brunch platform. I still have little faith on all these works, but I would keep doing it with faith without stopping, whatever it might be, writing or sharing, or studying, and so on.
Jesus' attitude and behaviors of giving taxes, in order not to offend humans, look very interesting and meaningful to me. When i live and see many happenings around me in a Christian's point of view, many are evil and nonsense, but in the name of humanity, culture, equity, and law, they are treated right and they are considered to even make sense. There is nothing I can do except allowing them to happen, so that I may seemingly stay in unity, not offending and not breaking the good relationships with. But I feel guilty or am troubled in my heart. But i knew that It is not because I have no faith, but it is because of them and His kingdom. The truth does not change at all, whether people believe it or not.
