U.S. Stock Indexes Mixed After Report Shows Waning Consumer Confidence (WSJ. 20250912)

Shares of Boeing fell 2% after its chief executive warned of development delays for its 777X Jet, and workers in Boeing's Defense Unit were scheduled to vote today on whether to accept a deal that would end a weeks-long strike. Shares of RH dropped nearly 5% when the luxury household furnishings retailer trimmed its annual outlook as it struggles with higher tariff-related costs. And Super Micro Computer stock rose 2% after the producer of servers said it was now delivering equipment with new NVIDIA technology.
