한반도는 지형적인 조건으로 인하여 몇 세기 동안 외세로부터의 침략을 받았고 그에 따라 엄청난 재산의 손실과 수 많은 생명이 희생 되었다.
The Korean peninsula has been invaded by many strong countries for centuries, due to the geographical location. As a result, a huge number of people in Korea were killed and precious assets were taken or were damaged.
가장 최근에 겪었던 일제강점기와 6.25 전쟁 또한 힘있는 나라들이 자신들의 이해 관계를 충족시키기 위하여 발생하였으며 현재에도 대한민국은 지형적 조건은 미국, 중국, 러시아, 일본등의 강대국에게 아주 매력적인 장소라고 할 수 있다.
The Japanese colonial era and the Korean War occured, because strong countries wanted to benefit from the Korean peninsula. The geographical condition of Korea is still an attractive place to the U.S., China, Russia and Japan
우리의 동맹국인 미국은 중국, 북한, 러시아를 견제하기 위하여 대한민국의 영토에 미군을 주둔시키고 있으며 중국은 동 아시아의 맹주가되어 최 강대국의 자리를 차지하기 위하여 한반도를 차지 혹은 영향력을 최대화 하기 위하여 노력하고있다. 또한 일본은 언제나처럼 제 2의 한국전쟁 혹은 한반도에 문제가 생겨 경제적 반사 이익을 얻기 위하여 기다리고있다.
The U.S., one of our allies, deployed its troops in Korea to keep in check its known enemies such as China, North Korea and Russia. In the meantime, China, in order to be an strong leader in East Asia is trying to take over the Korean peninsula economically, and wants to influence the future of Korea.
한국의 영토는 일본의 4/1 수준으로 매우 작고, 북한과의 국경선 때문에 대륙으로 뻗어나갈수도 없으며, 어떤 나라처럼 풍부한 자원 또한 없기때문에 자연스럽게 제조업과 무역업을 발달시켜야 했으며 생산된 제품들로 부터의 이익을 극대화 시키기 위하여 여러 나라들과 좋은 관계를 유지해 왔다. 하지만 중국이 세계의 No.2의 자리를 차지한 후 상황은 이전보다 크게 달라졌다.
The territory of South Korea is 4 times smaller than Japan and the South is unable to overgrow to the North area due to the border between North Korea and South Korea. South Korea also does not have ample natural resources. These are the major reasons why the South had to develop manufacturing and trade businesses. In order to maximize profits from trade, South Korea has maintained a pleasant relationship with many countries. However, after China emerged as a new superpower in the world, the situation has been changed.
미국은 중국을 견제하기 위하여 한국 정부에 여러 분야에서 미국의 편에 서도록 압박을 주고 있으며 중국에 도움이되는 법안이 통과되면 미국쪽에서의 압박이, 미국쪽에 도움이되는 법안이 만들어지면 중국쪽에서 피부로 당장 느낄 수 있는 정치적, 경제적 피해를 주며 대한민국은 두 국가로 부터의 선택을 강요받고 있는 상황이다.
In order to keep China in check, the U.S. is pressuring South Korea to be on their side, and whenever South Korea makes policies that are favorable to China, the U.S. shows their anger. However, China also abuses its power. Unlike the U.S., China has taken economic and political revenge on South Korea when South Korea accepted the opinion of the U.S.. Basically South Korea is being forced to choose only one country.
이 둘 중 하나만 선택하더라도 우리 나라의 경제가 휘청거리는것은 마찬가지이지만 한 국가를 선택해야 한다면 당연히 미국을 선택해야한다. 많은 전문가들이 "언젠가는 미국은 중국에게 추월 당한다" 라고 하지만 현실적으로 대부분의 나라는 중국어보다 영어를 사용하고 있고, 결정적으로는 미국의 통화인 "달러"는 세계의 어느곳에서도 사용할 수 있다.
In the case that South Korea chooses between the U.S. and China, the economy of Korea will be damaged, but Korea must ultimately choose the U.S.. Even though some experts predict that the U.S. will be surpassed by China in the future, realistically most countries speak English and decisively, American currency is used in the world not yuan.
또한 중국은 잠재적인 적국이다. 한국과 북한이 전쟁을 수행할 경우 대한민국은 반드시 승리하겠지만 실제로 한국의 피해는 북한보다 수십, 수백배가 더 클것이 분명한데, 북한은 중국의 달러, 석유, 미사일등의 지원 없이는 절대 전쟁을 수행할 수 없으며, 미국과 중국이 전쟁을 시작할 경우 한국과 일본의 오키나와는 중국으로 부터의 가장 첫번째로 타겟이 될 것이기 때문이다.
In the meantime, China is the potential enemy of South Korea. In the case of a war between the South and the North, South Korea will no doubt win the war. However, the damage to South Korea would be much higher than to North Korea. North Korea is unable to undertake a war without support, such as financial support, oil and misiles from China. In the case of a war between the U.S. and China, South Korea and Okinawa will be the first targets for China.
현재 대한민국은 미국, 중국, 북한 3개의 나라를 상대해야하는 골치아픈 상황에 처해있다.
South Korea is currently in a complicated situation with the U.S., China and North Korea.
한국을 포함한 많은 나라들은 외교적, 군사적, 경제적 이익을 극대화하고 싶어하기 때문에 한발짝도 물러서지 않으려 할 것이다.
Since many countries, including South Korea want to maximize their profits in diplomatic, military and economic fields, they would not make concessions for their potential enemies.
이런 상황을 우리는 어떻게 돌파해나가야 할지 무단히 연구해야 할 것이다.
In order to get through this difficult situation, we have to struggle a lot.
