Our Korea

After I finalized the first essay booke called Korean man American woman in 2016, I had decided to write two more books before 2020. I had thought that second book will be about North Korea, because I served in the military for 6 years and the topic is familiar to me. However, my job as an English teacher recruiter changed my plan. 

I have been posting useful information about South Korea on my Facebook page for foreign teachers, but I realized the limitation of Facebook posting. People could just leisurely read the information on Facebook, but they would not really pay attention to it. 

These days, a huge number of non Korean people are interested in Korean language, culture, food, etc. After I got married to American woman, I realized that there is no proper books that explains South Korea well. Foreigners might find information on internet, but they are pretty old. 

Some guide books about Korea only introduce history, old palace and culture. Korean people have a tendency that we need to advertise our great history or culture. However, from my experience, a majority of non-Korean people would want to visit Hongdae, Insadong and amusement park.

This book is not only for new English teachers but also for those who want to know about South Korea.

I will write about Korea history, culture, food, tourist attraction, Korean life, Kpop, etc. I hope this is useful for you.
