이재명 ‘대장동 뒤집기’에 ‘그분, 조사중-조작-확인’ 고속증폭

이재명 대통령이 베트남 방문 중 나온 ‘대장동 오보, 그분 조작’ 확인 증폭 과정은 교통방송에서 ‘그분 없다 녹음 있다’에서 시작해 ‘조사중’이 대통령의 ‘조작’으로 고속 증폭됐다.

교통방송(TBS)는 14일 진행자 ‘봉지욱’과 ‘김승원 민주당 의원(조작특위 위원)’ 대담 프로에서 “그분 없고, 녹음이 돼 있어”로 ‘조사 진행중’을 말했고, 이 대통령은 이를 “조작했다‘로 규정했고, 친이재명 언론들이 ’김 의원 주장‘을 ”녹취록에 없던 발언 확인돼“로 보도했다.

이 대통령은 24일 X에 "한국신문상 심사위원회는 '대장동 이슈 보도에서 파괴력 있는 팩트를 발굴했다'며 수상 사유를 밝혔다고 한다"며 "사실은 팩트 발굴이 아니라 엄청난 조작을 한 것"이고, "대장동 녹취록에 있지도 않은 '그분' 이재명을 창조해 보도함으로써 대선에서 민주당 후보를 낙선시키고 대한민국 역사를 바꿨다"며 밝혔다.

14일자 TBC 관련 보도를 그대로 옮기면 다음과 같다.

대화에서 사회자가 먼저 “대장동 그”, 출연자인 ‘민주당 조작특위 위원’이 이에 “오보고 그분 단어 자체 없어”, 사회자가 이어 “오보, 기자상, 정정보도” 말하고, 출연자가 “고검장이 그분 오보라고 출입기자단에 말해”로, 다시 사회자가 “기자단 간사에 이야기 퍼져야”로 이어진다.

<◆봉지욱 : 초반에 박환택 변호사 증언이 원래 준비되어 있었는데 지금 시간이 없어 갖고 건너뛰어서 이어서 나간 것이 김태훈 고검장 증언이었는데 저거 기억하시지 않습니까? 대장동 그.◇김승원 : 완벽한 오보고 그분이라는 단어 자체가 아예 없었고 또 정여왕 녹취록에는 김만배 씨가 유동규한테 야 1호 집은 그 네 거야. 근데 니 이름으로 안 되니까 외부에서 모르게 놓게 해 놓을게라고 하는 녹음이 분명히 녹음이 돼 있어.

◆봉지욱 : 그러니까요. 지금 이 대형 오보인데 이렇게 되면 그때 이 보도를 달아서 막 기자상 받고 이런 매체들이 있어요. 이걸 해가지고 이거에 대해서 지금 사과나 정정보도해야 되는 거 아닐까요?◇김승원 : 그렇습니다. 그때 김태훈 고검장의 얘기에 의하면 당시 이거 그분이라는 단어는 없다 오보다라고 그때 그 출입하는 기자 간사한테.

◆봉지욱 : 기자단 간사한테 이야기를 했는데 그거 진짜 저는 충격적이었습니다. 그러면 그게 이제 퍼져야 되잖아요. 계속해서 그분은 이재명이다라는 식으로 기사를 써내거든요.◇김승원 : 네. 정정도 안 되고 그다음에 이정수라는 그때 서울중앙지검 검사장이 얘기를 했는데도.

◆봉지욱 : 근데 명확하게 안 했습니다. 정치인은 아닙니다. 이런 식으로 했어요. 이재명이 아닙니다라고 얘기를 정확히 해야 되는데 애매하게 해가지고 한국일보는 당시에 그분은 조재연 대법관이라고 2022년 1월에 또 대형 오보를 하게 돼요. 검찰이 다 알면서 확인을 안 해 주니까 굉장히 답답했습니다.◇김승원 : 네. 그건 진짜 대선 결과에 영향을 미치는 아주 허위 명백한 가짜 뉴스고요. 그 소스를 누가 줬는지 모르겠습니다.

◆봉지욱 : 저도 근데 그 기사를 보면요. 소스가 없습니다. 검찰 관계자도 아닌 것 같고 법조계 뭐 이런 식으로 해 가지고. 그런 식의 기사가 출처 불명의 완전 조작 보도잖아요. 그게 대선판 결과를 바꾼 거나 마찬가지거든요.◇김승원 : 네. 그럼 저희도 한번 더 면밀히 살펴보겠습니다. 왜냐하면 강백신과 엄희준이 미리 가서 그 기록들을 봤다는 거 아닙니까? 2022년 5월 달부터 그러니까요. 그 시기를 보면 소스가 어디서 나왔는지 한번 확인을 할 수 있을 것 같습니다.>

이 대통령의 X ‘기자상 취소해야’ 발표에 대해 ‘오마이뉴스’는 김 의원의 발언에 ‘녹음돼 있다’를 직접 확인 발언으로 다음과 같이 보도했다.

오마이뉴스는 김승원 의원 방송 해당 발언으로 보도했고, 방송에서 발언은 “완벽한 오보고 그분이란 단어 없다” “녹음이 됐 있어”가 주어라서 '확인'과 전혀 다르다.

오마이뉴스의 해당 부분을 그대로 인용한다.

<윤석열이 공세 펼쳤던 '그분' 보도... 녹취록에 없던 발언인 점 확인돼이 대통령이 지적한 보도는 2021년 10월 9일 보도된 <동아일보>의 "[단독] 김만배 '천화동인 1호 배당금 절반은 그분 것'" 기사로 추정된다."대장동 개발 민간사업자 화천대유 대주주 김만배씨가 정영학 회계사·남욱 변호사와 대화하면서 '그(천화동인 1호 배당금) 절반은 그분 것이다. 너희도 알지 않느냐는 취지로 말했다고 한다"는 간접적 전언 형식의 보도다.

당시 국민의힘 대선주자였던 윤석열은 이를 근거로 본인 페이스북에 "쏟아지는 증거와 정황, 수사 선상에 오른 인물들이 범죄의 몸통으로 이재명 후보를 지목하고 있다"고 주장했다. 아울러 "검찰은 신속하게 수사를 진행하고 정치권은 특검을 합의해 대장동 게이트의 진상을 규명하고 범죄자들을 처벌해야 한다"고 했다.

하지만 논란이 됐던 '그분' 표현은 이후 녹취록에 없는 표현이었음이 드러났다. <뉴스타파>가 2023년 1월 입수, 공개한 1325쪽 녹취록에는 '그 절반은 그분 것'이란 김씨의 발언 자체가 없었다.이 문제는 최근 국회의 '윤석열 정권 정치검찰 조작기소 의혹 사건 진상규명 국정조사' 과정에서 다시 부각됐다.

애초 보도의 TBS라디오(FM 95.1)[TBS FM 봉지욱의 봉인해제]는 2026년 4월 17일(금) 진행자: 봉지욱 기자, 출연자 : 김승원 민주당 의원은 이 대통령의 대장동 사건에 1 2심 유죄인김용 전 도지사 대변인‘의 무죄를 요구하고 있다.

김 의원은 무죄 요구는 '윗선 상납용 뇌물'을 윗선이 몰라야 한다는 것 자체가 '모순'이라는 간접 주장이 핵심이다.

아이뉴스24는 14일자에 다음과 같이 보도했다.

<지난 2022년 5월경 2기 수사팀 출범 후 남욱의 진술이 바꼈는데, 검찰이 남욱을 '6.56㎡ 구치감'에 가둬놓고 2박3일 조사하며 협박했다는 것이 김 위원장의 주장이다.

이를 견디지 못했는지 남욱이 2022년 11월경 3억이 '형들을 위한 것'이었다고 진술을 바꾼 것으로 김 위원장은 보고 있다.

남욱은 지난해 재판에서 '검찰 수사 과정에서 들은 내용을 본인의 진술처럼 얘기했다'고 스스로 인정한 바 있는데, 교차 조사를 통한 진술맞추기가 의심되는 정황이라는 것.

김 위원장은 8일 열린 조작기소 국정조사에서 대장동 1기 수사팀에게 지난 2021년 핵심관계자들의 진술이 맞는지 물었고 '성실하게 수사해 내린 결론'이라는 답변을 받았다.

김 위원장은 "검찰은 지난 2021년 쏟아진 증언들을 깡그리 무시한 채 오염된 유동규의 증언에만 의존해 김용을 기소했다"면서 "이 자체가 정치검찰의 조작기소이며, 김용이 무죄라는 증거"라고 지적했다.

이어 "조작기소 국정조사는 수십년간 쌓여온 국민적 갈증을 해소하기 위한 장치"라며 "정치검찰 조작기소 밝히고 김용의 무고함도 밝히겠다"고 밝혔다.>

‘미디어오늘’은 <이재명 대통령 “대장동 보도 조작” 동아일보 기사상 취소 요구> 제목에 <대장동 개발 의혹 동아일보 보도, 2023년 한국신문협회 한국신문상 뉴스취재보도부문상> 부제목으로 <이재명 대통령이 ‘대장동 개발 의혹’ 보도로 상을 받은 동아일보 기사에 대해 “사실은 팩트 발굴이 아니라 엄청난 조작을 한 것”이라며 해당 기사에 대한 수상을 취소해야 한다고 주장했다>고 24일 보도했다.

미디어오늘은 이어 < 대통령은 24일 X에 지난 2023년 한국신문협회 한국신문상 뉴스취재보도부문상을 받은 동아일보의 ‘대장동 개발 의혹’ 관련 기사를 공유하면서 “한국신문상 심사위원회는 ‘대장동 이슈 보도에서 지속적으로 파괴력 있는 팩트를 발굴했다’고 수상 사유를 밝혔다”며 “그러나 대장동 녹취록에 있지도 않은 ‘그 분’ 이재명을 창조해 보도해 지난 대선에서 민주당 대선 후보를 낙선시키고 대한민국 역사를 바꿨다”고 주장했다>면서 <이 대통령은 지난 22대 대선지난 대선에서 윤석열 당시 국민의힘 후보에게 0.73%p 차이로 패했다>고 밝혔다.

MBC는 <"김용 출마해야" 與 의원 50명 넘어‥지도부는 여전히 '신중'> 제목으로 <김용 전 민주연구원 부원장의 명예회복과 국회의원 재보궐 선거 공천을 공개적으로 지지하는 더불어민주당 의원들이 50명을 넘어섰다>며 <6.3지방선거와 함께 치러지는 이번 재보궐 선거에 김용 전 부원장이 출마 의사를 밝히면서 친명계 의원들 중심으로 김 전 부원장에 대한 공천을 요구하고 나선 것>이라고 25일 보도했다.MBC는 <박지원 의원은 어제 YTN 라디오 '장성철의 뉴스명당'에 출연해 "김용 부원장이 나가서 국민께 심판받도록 민주당이 공천해야 된다"고 말했고, 충남지사 후보로 선출된 박수현 의원도 같은 프로그램에 나가 "검찰의 조작 기소로 희생된 상징적인 사건이기 때문에 당연히 기회가 주어져야 된다"고 밝혔다>면서 <국회 법사위원장을 맡고 있는 서영교 의원도 SNS를 통해 "김 전 부원장을 포함한 조작 수사 피해자들에게 일상을 돌려줘야 한다"며 지지 의사를 피력했고, 김 전 부원장이 출마 희망지역으로 꼽은 경기 안산을 지역구로 둔 김현 의원도 김용 전 부원장과 함께 찍은 사진을 SNS에 올리며 명예회복 필요성을 강조했다>고 밝혔다.

이 대통령이 직접 '동아일보 기사 조작해 신문상 수상'에 대해 '확인'으로 밝혀, '동아일보 조작'에 입증 의무가 발생했고, '조작' 입증 여부에 국가 정체성이 걸린 것으로 보인다.

Lee Jae-myung’s ‘Daejang-dong Reversal’ Rapidly Amplifies ‘That Person, Under Investigation - Fabrication - Confirmation’

The process of confirming and amplifying the ‘Daejang-dong false report, fabrication by that person’ that emerged during President Lee Jae-myung’s visit to Vietnam began with a traffic broadcast stating, “That person is not here, but there is a recording,” and rapidly escalated from ‘under investigation’ to the President’s ‘fabrication.’

On the 14th, Traffic Broadcasting System (TBS) stated during a talk show featuring host Bong Ji-wook and Democratic Party lawmaker Kim Seung-won (member of the Special Committee on Manipulation) that "the investigation is ongoing" by saying, "That person is not there, but it is recorded." President Lee characterized this as "manipulation," and pro-Lee Jae-myung media outlets reported "Rep. Kim's claim" as "confirmation of remarks not in the transcript."

On the 24th, President Lee stated to X, "The judging committee for the Korea Newspaper Awards reportedly announced the reason for the award as 'unearthing destructive facts in the reporting on the Daejang-dong issue.'"

He continued, "In reality, it was not the discovery of facts, but massive manipulation," adding, "By creating and reporting on 'that person' Lee Jae-myung, who is not even in the Daejang-dong transcript, they caused the Democratic Party candidate to lose the presidential election and changed the history of the Republic of Korea."

The following is a verbatim reproduction of the TBC report regarding the 14th.

In the conversation, the host first said, "Daejang-dong that," to which the guest, the "Democratic Party Special Committee on Manipulation," replied, "It is a false report, and the word 'that person' itself..." "It's gone," the host continues, mentioning "false report, journalist award, correction." The guest then says, "The Chief Prosecutor told the press corps that it was a false report about that person," to which the host replies, "The story needs to spread to the secretary of the press corps."

<◆ Bong Ji-wook: Attorney Park Hwan-taek's testimony was originally prepared at the beginning, but we skipped it due to time constraints and followed it with Chief Prosecutor Kim Tae-hoon's testimony. Do you remember that? That Daejang-dong thing? ◇ Kim Seung-won: It was a complete false report, and the word "that person" didn't even exist. Also, in the Jeong Yeo-wang transcript, there is a clear recording of Kim Man-bae saying to Yoo Dong-gyu, "Hey, House No. 1 is yours. But since it can't be under your name, I'll have it placed there so no one outside knows."

◆ Bong Ji-wook: Exactly. This is a massive false report. There are media outlets that published this report and went on to win journalist awards. Shouldn't they apologize or issue a correction regarding this? ◇ Kim Seung-won: That is correct. According to Chief Prosecutor Kim Tae-hoon's account at the time, regarding this "that person" I told the press corps coordinator at the time that the word was missing and that it was a false report.

◆ Bong Ji-wook: I told the press corps coordinator about it, and I was truly shocked. Then, that information should have spread, shouldn't it? They kept writing articles claiming that the person was Lee Jae-myung.

◇ Kim Seung-won: Yes. There was no correction, even though Lee Jung-soo, the Chief Prosecutor of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office at the time, had already spoken up.

◆ Bong Ji-wook: But they didn't make it clear. They just said, "He is not a politician." They should have said exactly, "It is not Lee Jae-myung," but because they were vague, the Hankook Ilbo ended up publishing another major false report in January 2022, claiming that the person was Supreme Court Justice Cho Jae-yeon. It was extremely frustrating because the prosecution knew all along but refused to confirm it.

◇ Kim Seung-won: Yes. That is clearly false and fake news that influences the presidential election results. I don't know who provided that source.

◆ Bong Ji-wook: But when I look at that article, there is no source. It doesn't seem to be a prosecution official, but rather something like "legal circles." That kind of article is a completely fabricated report with an unknown source. It is tantamount to changing the outcome of the presidential election.

◇ Kim Seung-won: Yes. Then we will also examine it more closely. Because isn't it true that Kang Baek-shin and Um Hee-jun went in advance and saw those records? Since May 2022, that is. If we look at that timeframe, we will likely be able to verify where the source came from.

Regarding President Lee’s announcement that the “Journalist Award” should be revoked, OhmyNews reported the following, citing Rep. Kim’s statement that it was “recorded” as a direct confirmation:

Kim Seung-won, a member of the Democratic Party’s Special Committee on State Affairs Investigation, stated in an interview with TBS Radio’s “Bong Ji-wook’s Unsealing” on the 17th, “(The report in question) is a complete false report. "He pointed out, 'The word 'that person' was completely absent,' adding, 'According to Chief Prosecutor Kim Tae-hoon of the Daejeon High Prosecutors' Office at the time, he told the secretary of the press corps that it was a false report, but no correction was made.'"

OhmyNews reported this as the relevant remark by Assemblyman Kim Seung-won on the broadcast; however, the statement in the broadcast is entirely different from 'confirmation' because the subjects are "It is a complete false report and the word 'that person' is missing" and "It is recorded."

<The 'that person' report that Yoon Suk-yeol launched an offensive on... Confirmed to be a remark not in the transcript. The report pointed out by the President was published on October 9, 2021 It is presumed to be the Dong-A Ilbo article titled "[Exclusive] Kim Man-bae: 'Half of the Cheonhwadongin No. 1 dividend belongs to him.'" While conversing with accountant Jeong Yeong-hak and lawyer Nam Wook, Kim Man-bae, the major shareholder of Hwacheon Daeyu, the private developer of Daejang-dong, said, "Half of that (Cheonhwadongin No. 1 dividend) belongs to him." It is a report in the form of an indirect report stating, "It is said that he spoke to the effect that 'you all know, don't you?'"

Based on this, Yoon Suk-yeol, then a presidential candidate for the People Power Party, claimed on his Facebook page, "The flood of evidence, circumstances, and figures under investigation are pointing to Candidate Lee Jae-myung as the mastermind behind the crime." He further stated, "The prosecution must proceed with the investigation swiftly, and the political sphere must agree on a special counsel to uncover the truth behind the Daejang-dong Gate and punish the criminals."

However, it was later revealed that the controversial expression "that person" was not present in the transcript. In the 1,325-page transcript obtained and released by <Newstapa> in January 2023, Mr. Kim's remark that "half of it belongs to that person" did not exist at all. This issue was highlighted again recently during the National Assembly's "State Affairs Investigation into Allegations of Manipulated Indictments by the Political Prosecution under the Yoon Suk-yeol Administration."

Kim pointed out, "(The report in question) is a complete false report. The word 'that person' did not exist at all." In response to the host's question asking, "There were media outlets that received journalist awards for that report at the time; shouldn't they apologize or issue a correction now?" Rep. Kim replied, "Yes," adding, "That was a very false and clearly fake news story that actually influenced the presidential election results." He also said, "I don't know who gave me that source."

The original report on TBS Radio (FM 95.1) [TBS FM Bong Ji-wook's Unsealing] [Friday, April 17, 2026] [Host: Reporter Bong Ji-wook, Guest:] Democratic Party lawmaker Kim Seung-won is demanding the acquittal of former provincial governor spokesperson Kim Yong, who was found guilty in the first and second trials regarding President Lee's Daejang-dong case.

The core of Rep. Kim's demand for acquittal is an indirect argument that the very notion that "higher-ups must not know about bribes intended for kickbacks to higher-ups" is a "contradiction."

iNews24 reported the following on the 14th:

<Chairman Kim claims that Nam Wook's testimony changed after the launch of the second investigation team around May 2022, and that the prosecution threatened Nam Wook by confining him in a "6.56㎡ detention cell" and interrogating him for two nights and three days.

Perhaps unable to endure this, Nam Wook in 2022 Chairman Kim believes that around November, Nam Wook changed his statement to claim that the 300 million won was "for his brothers."

Nam Wook himself admitted during last year's trial that he "reported what he heard during the prosecution's investigation as if it were his own testimony," which is seen as a situation where his statements were suspected of being coordinated through cross-examination.

During the parliamentary investigation into the fabricated indictment held on the 8th, Chairman Kim asked the investigation team for the first phase of the Daejang-dong case whether the statements of key figures from 2021 were accurate, and received a response stating that it was "a conclusion reached through a diligent investigation."

Chairman Kim pointed out, "The prosecution indicted Kim Yong by relying solely on the tainted testimony of Yoo Dong-gyu, while completely ignoring the testimonies that poured out in 2021," adding, "This in itself is a fabricated indictment by the political prosecution and is proof that Kim Yong is innocent."

He continued, "The parliamentary investigation into the fabricated indictment is a mechanism to quench the public's thirst that has accumulated over decades," and declared, "We will expose the fabricated indictment by the political prosecution and prove Kim Yong's innocence." [Reported]

Claiming that he "dismissed the candidate and changed the history of the Republic of Korea," he stated that "President Lee lost to then-People Power Party candidate Yoon Suk-yeol by 0.73%p in the last 22nd presidential election."

MBC reported on the 25th under the headline "Over 50 Ruling Party Lawmakers Say 'Kim Yong Must Run'... With President Lee personally confirming that the Dong-A Ilbo "fabricated an article to win a newspaper award," the burden of proof regarding the "Dong-A Ilbo fabrication" has arisen, and it appears that the nation's identity hinges on whether the fabrication can be proven.
