문재인 대통령인 5일 올해 첫 국무회의에서 ‘빠르고 강한 경제회복 이뤄야’ ‘코로나 이전 수준 가장 빠르게 회복’을 예고하고 증시는 이날 개인이 집중 매수하며 코스피지수 3000에 근접했다.

증시는 개인이 이날 7272억원어치 순매수하고 전날은 1조억원어치 산 반면, 이날 기관 5389억원, 외국인은 2091억원어치 순매도하며 전날 4일(2944.45)보다 46.12포인트(1.57%) 상승해 2990.57에 마감했다.

문 대통령은 "올해 빠르고 강한 경제회복을 이뤄야 한다. 새해에는 우리 경제의 맥박이 더욱 힘차게 뛰도록 하겠다. 코로나 이전 수준을 가장 빠르게 회복하고, 경제 강국으로 도약하는 대한민국이 되도록 하겠다"며 "올해 코로나를 반드시 조기에 극복하여 잃어버린 국민의 일상을 되찾겠다. 다음 달부터는 백신과 치료제를 통해 보다 공격적인 대응이 가능할 것"이라며 2월부터 '코로나 공격대응'과 '고속 경제회복'을 밝혔다.

문 대통령은 새해 첫 페이스북으로 "새해 우리는 반드시 일상을 되찾을 것"이라며 "방역은 물론 경제와 기후환경, 한반도 평화까지 변화의 바람을 선도해 나가겠다"고 1일 밝혔다.
