윤석열 당선인의 ‘광화문 정부서울청사 대통령실 구축’ 공약에 대해 윤한홍 팀장이 "정부서울청사는 대통령 집무실 후보지에서 최종 배제됐다"고 15일 말했다.

윤 당선인은 지난달 27일 공약으로 “새 대통령실은 광화문 정부서울청사에 구축하겠다”며 “경호나 외교 접견 문제는 우리가 충분히 검토했다. 인수위 때 준비해서 임기 첫 날부터 거기(광화문 청사)에서 근무 하겠다”면서 “대통령이 어떻게 일을 하느냐가 중요하다. 경호는 거기 맞춰야 한다”고 말했다.
