아사히신문은 26일 “바이든 대통령이 5월 하순 도쿄의 쿼드 정상회담에 맞춰 한국을 먼저 방문하는 것도 한일관계 개선 요구하는 미국의 메시지”라며 이날 윤석열 당선인측 대표단이 기시다 후미오 일본 총리를 만나 당선자 친서 전달 기사에서 밝혔다.
