미국 경제학자들이 미국 경기침체에 대해 ‘중순 이후 가능성’과 ‘더 높은 금리 인상’에 비중을 뒀고 삼성전자가 증시에서 약세를 보였다.

전미경영경제학회(National Association for Business Economics)의 조사에 응답한 경제학자 48명 중 3분의 1은 오는 4월-6월 2분기에 경기침체 시작으로 예상하고, 5분의 1은 7월 -9월 3분기에 시작될 것으로 밝혔다고 AP가 27일 보도했다.

AP는 “경기침체가 언제 시작될지에 대한 경제학자들의 기대가 지연된 것은 연준이 성장 둔화시키고 높은 인플레이션을 억제하기 위한 부단한 노력으로 금리를 8번 인상한 후에도 여전히 견고한 경제를 지적한 일련의 정부 보고서에 따른 것”이라며 “신용 타이트화는 경제를 약화시키고 경기침체 유발할 수도 있으며 24일에 발표된 경제 연구에 따르면 연준은 경기 침체를 일으키지 않고 최근에 도달 한 높은 수준에서 인플레이션을 낮추지 못했다”고 밝혔다.

24일 공개된 논문은 브랜다이스대학 스테펜 세체티(Stephen Cecchetti) 교수(전 뉴욕연방준비은행 연구책임자)를 포함한 마이클 페롤리, JP 모건 수석 미국경제학자(전 연준 연구원), 도이체 방크의 연구 담당 부회장 피터 후퍼 (Peter Hooper) 전 연방준비 제도이사회 총재 프레데릭 미쉬 킨(Frederic Mishkin) 등이 참여했고, 연준이 이전에 예상했던 것보다 훨씬 더 높은 금리를 인상해야 할 가능성이 높다는 인식이 커지고 있다는 보고서이다.

삼성전자 1분기 이익 전망치가 전년동기대비 83% 급감으로 나오고 외국인 순매도 이어져 주가가 다시 6만원 초반이 됐다.

증권정보업체 에프앤가이드에 따르면 지난 26일 기준 삼성전자의 1분기 영업이익 전망치는 2조3727억원으로 추정해 지난해 같은 기간보다 83% 급감하며 한 달 전보다 41% 감소할 것으로 보인다.

삼성전자는 메모리사업부에서 올 1~2월 3조원가량의 영업적자를 기록에 1분기 최대 4조원 적자 예상으로 알려졌다

메모리 의존도 더 높은 SK하이닉스는 올 1분기 4조원대 적자를 기록이 예상된다.

According to FnGuide, a securities information company, as of the 26th, Samsung Electronics' first quarter operating profit was estimated at 2,372.7 billion won, which is expected to decrease by 83% from the same period last year and by 41% from a month ago.
