이번 CATTÉNE 8호는 카메라보다 먼저 바람을 탔던 고양이들의 이야기예요.

햇살이 부서지는 강릉 안목해변에서해온(Haeon)은 파도보다 조용히 우리를 바라봤고,
포항 이가리 닻 전망대에 선 윤결(Ungyeol)은 마치 그곳의 주인처럼 서 있었죠.

그리고 속초 영금정의 조랑(Jorang)은 등 뒤에 파란 바다를 두고선, 마치 다음 파도가 올 걸 알고 있는 듯한 눈빛이었어요.

제주 우도의 윤담(Yundam)은 바람을 얼굴로 받으며 스르륵 눈을 감았고,
부산 송정해변의 나루(Naru)는 모래보다 먼저 뛰어올라 여름을 끌어당기듯 움직였죠.

이 다섯 마리의 고양이들은 각자의 방식으로 ‘여름보다 먼저 도착한 존재’였어요.
조용히, 때론 힘차게, 우리가 아직 준비도 못 했는데 말이에요.

CATTÉNE — A Journey of Five Cats Who Reached Summer First

June Second Week 1 2025 | Issue 08

This 8th issue of CATTÉNE is a story of five cats
who caught the wind before our cameras did.

On the sunlit sands of Anmok Beach in Gangneung,
Haeon looked at us more quietly than the waves themselves.
Ungyeol, standing at Igari Anchor Observatory in Pohang,
seemed like he owned the whole horizon.

At Yeonggeumjeong in Sokcho,
Jorang sat with the blue sea behind him,
his eyes calm — as if he already knew the next wave was coming.

Yundam, on Udo Island in Jeju,
closed his eyes softly as the wind kissed his face.
And at Songjeong Beach in Busan,
Naru leaped ahead of the sand,
pulling summer closer with every step.

These five cats each arrived at summer in their own way.
Quietly. Powerfully.
Long before we were ready.
