[Weather] Nationwide rain in store but heat advisory in place for the south
More rain is forecast to impact many parts of the country today. Showers are falling across the central regions and Jeollabuk-do Province this morning. Through this afternoon, the heaviest downpours will be focused on southern Gyeonggi-do and Chungcheongnam-do provinces, as well as the capital area. Take extra care on the roads. Southern Gyeonggi-do and Chungcheongnam-do provinces could see more than 100 millimeters of rain, and the capital region could see 10 millimeters to 60 millimeters through the mid-afternoon.

Meanwhile, heat advisories remain in place for the southern regions and Jeju. Temperatures there will feel close to 33 degrees under high humidity. This afternoon, Daegu and Busan will get up to 32 degrees Celsius, Jeju at 33 degrees, despite rain which continues through tomorrow. Seoul only makes it to 24 degrees. Once the rain clears, cooler winds arrive. But do keep an umbrella handy—another round of nationwide rain is expected between Friday and Saturday.
