Wide gaps in readings under partly sunny skies
The chilly air we're feeling in the mornings and evenings is a clear sign that autumn is here. A wide temperature gap will once again develop during the day. Areas including Chuncheon could see a temperature difference of over 10 degrees Celsius. Keep an eye out for strong winds, especially near the south coast and Jeju, where gusts could reach 15 to 20 meters per second. Meanwhile, we need to be extra careful with high swells along the east coast.

Most regions will be under partly sunny skies with lingering rain on Jeju through this morning, then highs will get up to 28 degrees. Seoul will top out at 25 degrees Celsius, Busan at 27 degrees. Looking ahead, rain will begin on the south coast and Jeju tomorrow night and spread across the entire country on Wednesday. This will cause temperatures to drop, with the daytime high in Seoul only reaching 23 degrees Celsius. Beware of the temperature rollercoaster and dress accordingly!
