Under the terms of the deal, Hamas released the final 20 living Israeli hostages, while Israel freed more than 1-thousand-900 Palestinian prisoners. The hostage release on Monday marked a dramatic and emotional moment. The freed hostages returned to Israel after more than two years in captivity, where they were reunited with their families. The bodies of 28 deceased hostages are also being returned as part of the deal. According to The Times of Israel, four bodies were returned through the Red Cross on Monday, but no information had been received regarding the other 24.
