책임감을 옥죄는 의무감에 대하여

보통 의무와 책임은 함께 다니지만 이 둘이 정비례하지는 않는다.

이 회사에 다닌 이후로 내 책임 밖의 일도 의무감에 열심히 해왔다.

사실, 의무감보다는 그 내면에 있는 책임감이 더 컸을지도 모른다.

그저 결과를 잘 만들기 위해, 내 책임 밖의 일까지도 책임감을 갖고 열심히 해왔고, 

그래서 남들보다 조금 더 빨리 승진했는지도 모르겠다.

책임감이 연료라면 의무감은 엔진이다.

의무감은 책임감 없이는 돌아가지 않고, 책임감만으로도 아무것도 할 수가 없다.

하지만, 이 사실을 모르는 사람들이 생각보다 많다.

책임감이라는 연료를 사용하기 위해선 이 연료를 넣기 위한 의무감이 반드시 필요하고, 아무리 책임감이 크다 한들 의무감의 출력 범위는 한정되어 있다.

따라서, 더 큰 책임감을 요구하려면, 그에 맞는 의무감을 함께 부여해야 결과로 이어지는 것이지,

의무감 없이 책임감만 요구한다면, 넘치는 연료가 하염없이 썩어가기만 할 뿐이다.

그렇다면 의무감이란 무엇인가?

의무감은 스스로 자라 잡은 책임감과 다르게 주어지는 것이다.

예를 들어 X에게 A와 B 업무를 배정한다면, X에게 주어진 의무는 A와 B업무의 처리이고, X 의무감은 이로부터 비롯된다.

여기서 중요한 것은 의무감의 제한이다.

위의 X에게 너의 업무는 A와 B이고 이걸 어떻게든 이뤄내야 해.라는 의무를 지웠을 때와, 너의 업무는 A와 B이지만, 이와 연관된 C와 D는 너의 의무가 아니니 신경 쓰지 마라,라는 의무를 지웠을 때, 어떤 차이가 생길지는 쉽게 상상할 수 있다.

첫 번째 경우에서는 A, B의 성공이 의무이기에 X는 이를 성공시키기 위한 의무감이 배정되었지만, 두 번째 경우에서는 A, B의 성공에 필수적인 C, D에 대한 의무가 없기에, C, D로 인해 A, B가 지장을 받더라도 이는 X의 책임이 아니며, 이는 곧 C, D를 통제하지 못함으로써 A, B의 전체의 영향이 받는 상황에서 X가 할 수 있는 일은 없다는 것을 의미한다.

이 경우, X의 책임감이 아무리 크다 한 들, 이는 X의 심적 고통만 가중시킬 뿐이다.

최근, 내게 자꾸 의무의 제한이 생기고 있다.

의무의 제한을 씌워놓은 상태에서 아무리 내 책임감에 명령을 내리고 호소한 들 내가 뭘 할 수 있을까?

참.. 답답한 하루이다.

Normally, obligation come with responsiblity, but they don't follow direct proportional curve.

Since joining this company, I have worked hard not only on the tasks within my responsibility but also beyond them, driven by my sense of duty.

Perhaps, responsiblity in my mind might be bigger than my sense of duty.

Although the task is beyond my responsibility, I did what I had to do at that moment, and it led to a quick promotion for me

If responsiblity is the fuel, then the sense of duty is the engine.

The sense of duty can't function alone without responsibility, and responsibility alone couldn't accomplish everything.

However, more people than expected fail to understand this simple interdependence.

To utilize the fuel called responsibility, we need the engine called sense of duty to power it. Regardless of the size of the responsibility, the sense of duty has its limitations.

Thus, if you desire greater responsibility to yield better results, you must also bring an equal sense of duty. Otherwise, the fuel may overflow without serving any purpose.

Then, what does sense of duty stand for?

Sense of duty is a given thing while responsibility manifest itself.

For example, if you assign projects A and B to your employee X, the results would be totally different when you ask X to complete them without additional restrictions, compared to when you ask X to complete them while mentioning that essential processes C and D are outside of X's duties.

In the first case, completing A and B is X's duty, and X has a full sense of duty to complete them. However, in the second case, X doesn't have an obligation to complete C and D. It wouldn't be X's fault if C and D ruin the whole project. Essentially, it's as if X has nothing they can do, even if C and D ruin the entire project.

Recently, I´ve got more and more restriction in my sense of duties.

Under this restriction, what could I do evenI have great responsiblity?

Normalmente, la obligación venga con la responsabilidad, pero ellas no siguen la curva proporcional directa.

Desde uní a esta empresa, he trabjado duro no sólo las tareas dentro de mi responsabilidad, pro también más allá de ellas, he conducido de mí sentido del deber.

Tal vez, repsonsabilidad en mi mente podía más grande que mi sentido del deber.

Aunque la task es más allá de mi responsabilidad, he trabjado duro con mi eso, poreso conducío me la promocíon pronta.

Si reponsabilidad es el conbustible, el sentido del deber es el motor.

El sentido del deber no puede funcionar solo sin el responsabilidad, y el responsabilidad solo no puede complir nada.

Pero, más personas que expectado fallan que conocer eso interdependencia sencillo.

Utilizar el conbustible llamado reponsibilidad, necesitamos el motor llamado el sentido del deber prender eso.

Así, si deseas más grande el responsiblidad ceder resulto mejor, debes tambien llevar el sentido de deber igual. De lo contrario, el conbustible puede desbordamientar con nada.

Entonces, ¿qué significa el sentido del deber?

El sentido del deber es un algo dado mientras que la responsibilidad se manifiesta.

Para ejemplo, si asignas los proyectos A y B a tú empleado X, el resulto sería totalmente diferente cuando preguntas a X compliar ellos sin restricciónes adicionales, comparar con quando preguntas a X compliar ellos  mientras mentionando que básico procesos C y D son fuera de deber de X.

En el caso primero, completar A y B es deber de X, y X he un todo el sentido del deber a completar ellos. Pero, en el caso segundo, X no ha un obligación a compliar C y D. No sería culpa de X si C y D arruinan todo el proyecto. Esencialmente, es como si X no tuviera nada que hacer, incluso si C y D arruinan todo el proyecto.

Recientemente, he consiguiendo más y más restriciónes en mi sendido del deber. 

Debajo de esos restrición, ¿que puedo hacer incluso si he el responsibilidad grande?

Días tan frustrantes.
