MLD Weekly Reflection 10
Isaiah 30:21
And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying,
“This is the way, walk in it,”
when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left
I always expected God to speak strongly when he speaks. I had time to look back from 2018 until today, and I felt that God's initiative was like this. God led me soft and powerful in my life rather than in small prayer. He not only hears small wishes but also instills larger ones to teach me to grow and raise.
I ponder about Isaiah's character and what he did *ㅡIsaiah is a prophet in judas who lived in the 8th century B.C. during His lifetime, He prophesized and it becomes true. and in Isaiah, I feel like one book as a summary of bible, it's telling us how the save comes, and how can we live with this truth, and how can we fear of Lord.
Isaiah was the one told Israel people about God's judgment and Hope as a living hope. so in Isaiah, 1-49 chapters explain God's judgment and from 50 chapters, Isaiah talks about hope through the messiah, Jesus. and 50-53 chapters prophesize about the savior that he will hold all our pain and suffering and sin, and after Isaiah explains the hope and vision that it will come soon.
our identity comes with the only truth that Jesus came for us. there's nothing that much could explain well about our identity that the lords of Lord came to the earth for us, to live with us, to dwell among us. so that He leads the way so that He walks with us. whether we turn to the right or left,
"This is the way, walk in it"
on outreach, I met a girl who live in Lausanne. she is 18years old and me and my friend just want to share how much she is beautiful and lovable to God. and somehow she shared how much she struggle these days. even We were in tears. It seemed that God asked us to tell her how much He loved her, so a friend gave her the necklace she had received from God and I suddenly told her about Isaiah 43:4-7. We prayed and talked about how hard she was having, but how good God is and how important it is to expect it. In fact, I don't know if that moment could be an important point in her life, but she gave me message how amazing and grateful she was on that night, through messenger.
Isaiah 43:4
Because you are precious in my eyes,
and honored, and I love you,
I give men in return for you,
peoples in exchange for your life.
I really feel God is for us, God is among us. God please us. though christmas event, even so many things was happen, we saw God's goodness and God's work in the midst of the event. our individual choices that we commit to one another, that is proove God is also in community and God work in a community.
