Welcome 2024, Digital2024년이 코앞으로 다가왔습니다! 12월 30일인 오늘은 정말 눈이 한없이 펑펑 내리네요... 하늘도 대한민국의 한 국민배우를 잃은 슬픔을 알았는지 그 크기만큼 눈이 내리는 듯합니다.
개인적으로 2023년 검은 토끼해에 일어난 많은 일들에 감사하며, 내년부터는 무엇보다 이상기온과 기후변화를 호소하며 아파하는 지구를 위해 환경과 동물보호를 더욱 적극적으로 실천해 보길 다짐합니다.
그림은 눈이 오는 뉴욕의 NoLita 지역을 배경으로 하였습니다. 2024년을 맞아 한 여성이 강아지와 함께 길을 걷고 있는데 갑자기 청룡이 여의주를 물고 나타났네요! 여성은 놀란 기색 없이 이를 흥미롭게 바라보고 있습니다. 그다음 스토리텔링은 보시는 분들에게 맡기겠습니다. :) 여의주를 문 청룡이 등장한 그림처럼 2024년 한 해 동안 좋은 일이 많이 일어나길 바라봅니다.
2024 is just around the corner! On December 30th today, the snow is falling endlessly, creating an atmosphere that seems to mirror the magnitude of sadness felt for the loss of a beloved national actor in South Korea.
Personally, reflecting on the events of the Black Rabbit Year in 2023, I am grateful for many things. From next year onwards, my resolution is to actively engage in environmental and animal protection, prioritizing the well-being of our planet, which often expresses its distress through abnormal temperatures and climate change.
The accompanying illustration is set against the backdrop of NoLita in New York, where a woman, accompanied by her dog, strolls down the street. Suddenly, a blue dragon emerges, clutching the Yeoiju, a symbol of good fortune in Korean mythology. The woman looks at the scene with intrigue, and from here, I leave the storytelling to the imagination of the viewers. :) Just as the Blue Dragon appeared with the Yeoiju in this illustration, I hope that many positive things will happen throughout the year 2024 for everyone.
(Note: Yeoiju is a mythical gem that is often associated with good fortune in Korean culture.)
