Research Plan
The Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture (SFAC) recognizes Urban Attractiveness as an increasingly vital focus of human-centered cultural policy in the era of digital and AI technologies.
Accordingly, we are conducting research on the
(tentative title) City Attractiveness Compass—a strategic framework for systematically managing attractiveness as a core element of future urban policy.
(Co-authors: Dr. Miree BYUN, Prof. Jongryn MO, Prof. Wonho JANG, Dr. Hae-bo Kim, and SFAC Strategic Planning Team).
Through this research, we aim to propose new directions for city development and cultural policy from the perspective of attractiveness, going beyond the traditional scope of cultural policy.
