[Essay 11] Meeting With French
As I am interviewed for the job that is founded by french brand, there's meeting today at 12:30pm with the french director. It's a final stage to be approved as a store manager. What I have to talk about is first, why I apply to this company, second, how my career has to do with this female bag company.
Why do I apply? It's because I love fashion stuff and it naturally leads me to be interested in this job. This store deals with leather goods for woman. When I was young, I used to help friends of mine to be dressed up nicely for a special occasion and they mostly liked my advice about how to style.
When I visited RSVP website last time, I noticed that this brand was creating a simple but effortlessly gorgeous bag. RSVP bags have a great potential to be popular in Korea so much. Because Koreans, including me, don't like to catch people's eyes by wearing a funky and shiny style. The brand is designated in a simple way, which is quite relevant to Koreans' fashion preference.
Next, how do my career have to do with this position? Well obvisouly it's related, since I had been working for beauty supply store as a store manager for about 5 years. I had done A to Z at the store. Check inventory, contact company and order new items or something out of stock, manage the work relationship, care of complaints from customers, make a special event for holidays etc. The entire experience is perfectly relevant to this position. The only difference is a kind of product.
I'm prepared to be interviewed. Let's see what will happen.
