The italian motor brand, Maserati, is a realistic dream car for me. Even if maintenance is hard, as people know, forgiveness is given by the design. Most drivers can't help but admire its beauty. Maybe the inside doesn't seem contemporary like Mercedes, but it's not necessary for me to drive at all. The key that I consider when buying a car is to check the iconic character, design, and driving performance.
Once I went to test-drive Ghibli SQ4 to American Dealership located near my place, there are British brands right next to them, such as Bentley and Jaguar-Land Rover. While staying there, I had a chance to experience the luxurious cars inside and outside. However, it wasn't much impressive as Maserati gave me. Tim, the sales rep, introduced what I was going to drive soon, which was Ghibli SQ4, the entry model but with the highest performance at that level. Its beautiful trident emblem, sporty exterior, and smooth, cozy interior immediately draw my body.
As soon as he finished the introduction, I was given the chance to drive it. The driving experience and the exhilarating sound of the exhaust stemming from its well-made engine, and of course so much expensive in case to be replaced, never disappoint drivers. In that moment, I noticed that this would be my daily dream car and now luckily it is realizing sooner or later.
I've been hesitant to buy the car, taking consideration into depreciation and maintenance cost. I had to study a lot about Maserati thanks to a lot of rumors and incorrect info online. For example, there have been claims that the engine at the entry level is made of Chrysler, suggesting similarities with Chrysler. Depending on which model you get, it's mostly valued only for $30,000 or so, which is quite unfair to Maserati drivers who pay over $100,000 for theirs. But this rumor has been absolutely debunked and it is really in fact made/cooperated by Maserati and Ferrari.
As finishing to figure out all the facts, I've decided to buy Ghibli Gransport this week, an upgraded version of basic Ghibli for an enhanced sportiness. I look forward to driving the vehicle!
