자연은 생성과 소멸의 끊임없는 순환으로 이루어진 유기적인 매개입니다. 인류의 발전에 따라 오염되고 파괴되어가는 자연과 인류소멸의 가속화를 바라보며 느낀 감정을 시각화 영상화 데이터화 한 작품입니다. 인류의 소멸은 곧 자연에게는 또 하나의 시작을 의미합니다.
우리는 현미경으로 관찰된 여러 세포의 분열과 화합의 과정을 분석하며 시간의 흐름에 따라 투영되는 그대로를 표현합니다. 시간적 흐름, 인류의 소멸, 자연의 순환은 동시간에 표현될 수 있도록 한 의도는 자연에 대한 폭넓은 사유와 성찰의 기회를 인류에게 허락해주길 바라는 소망입니다.
