나는

어린아이

투명한 눈동자로 세상을 처음 마주하는 자

호기심은 나비처럼 날개를 펼치고

경이로움은 아침 이슬처럼 내 가슴에 맺힌다

지금 여기, 이 순간이 곧 영원의 놀이터

너와 나, 돌과 나무, 모두가 하나의 몸

작은 조약돌 하나에도 우주의 빛이 깃들어

나는 그것을 보물처럼 품에 안는다

신이 있다면 틀림없이 이 모습일 것—

웃음 속에 천국을 담고, 눈물 속에 진실을 흘리는

벗이여,

어린아이처럼 삶을 놀이처럼 춤추라

감동은 일상의 언어이고, 기쁨은 숨결이니

하지만 기억하라

순수함은 두 번 찾아온다는 것을

무지를 넘어선 순진무구함으로

무분별의 안개를 걷고 초분별의 빛으로!

다시 태어날 때

비로소, 가장 성숙한 어린아이가 되리니

I Am

a Child

With eyes clear as morning dew,

I meet the world for the very first time.

Curiosity spreads its wings like a butterfly,

and wonder gathers softly in my chest like dawn’s mist.

This moment—right here, right now—

is the playground of eternity.

You and I, stone and tree—

all are limbs of the same great body.

In a single pebble,

I cradle the light of the universe as my treasure.

If God exists, surely He wears this face—

laughter carrying heaven, tears flowing truth.

O friend,

dance through life as a child at play;

let awe be your language,

and joy your breath.

Yet remember—

purity returns twice:

once as ignorance,

and once as awakened innocence.

Dispel the fog of unknowing,

step into the light of higher seeing—

and be reborn,

the most mature child of all.
