나는 영원의 바다에서 일렁이며 일어나,

그 둘은 같은 삶일 뿐이라네.
나는 아득한 무의 바다에서 나와
아득한 무의 바다로 사라지는
한방울 이슬이지.
거기에 생사가 있다지만,
그 둘은 같은 생명일 뿐이라네.
영원과 무한의 도화지에 그리는
유한의 삶과 생명!
거기에 그림은 내가 그리지.
그게 바로 ‘나’란 존재이지 않을까?
벗이여,
무한과 유한의 그림을 모두 잘 그리고,
멋있게 깔끔하게 사라져라.
그러면 또 영원이 될 것이기에!
Who Am I?
I am the one who swells and rises from the eternal sea,
A voyager of life, sailing back to eternity.
Though joy and sorrow may seem apart,
They are but one—the same heart.
I am a dewdrop, born from the void’s embrace,
Returning to the void’s infinite space.
Though life and death may seem to divide,
They are but one—the same tide.
A fleeting life, a spark on the canvas of time,
Drawn upon infinity’s loom, sublime.
Yet it is I who paints the art—
Is this not the essence of “I,” the beating heart?
O my friend,
Paint well the dance of the infinite and the finite,
Then vanish, clean and fine.
For in the end, you’ll merge anew—
Into the eternal, vast and true.
