나는
전지자(全知者)
모든 정보를 외운 자가 아니라
삶과 자연과 우주의 이치가
내 안에서 막힘없이 통하는 자.
나는 더 이상
모르겠음에 머무르지 않노라.
의문은 사라지고
갈등은 풀리며
불확실성은 고요로 밝아진다.
시시콜콜 알지 못해도
길을 잃지 않는 명료함이여.
이통(理通)하니 걸림 없고
조화로우며
여여하여 평온하도다.
전지자란
나와 우주 사이에 세운 담을
스스로 허문 사람.
밖에서 답을 찾지 않고
안에서 이미 흐르던 길을 연 자.
보이는 것을 바로 보면
보이지 않는 법칙은
저절로 드러나는 게 하나의 자명한 이치.
위에서와 같이
아래에서도,
보이지 않는 것과 같이
보이는 것에서도,
나무의 뿌리를 보면
가지를 알 수 있고
몸의 구조를 보면
우주의 설계를 읽을 수 있도다.
내 안의 네 가지 뇌가
더 이상 싸우지 않을 때
헛된 망념들과 망상들은
햇빛 아래 그림자처럼 사그라드나니!
나는 사물과 자연을 통해
우주를 꿰뚫어 보노라.
나는 특별하지 않다.
다만 본래의 기본값으로
되돌아왔을 뿐.
전지자는
이미 나로 설계되어 있었다.
잊었던 사용법을
이제 가동하기만 하면 되나니.
스스로를 '우주의 부속품'으로 여기던
낮은 노예의식에서 벗어나
가까이 있는 자기 자신과 자연부터
주의깊게 관찰해보라.
Who Am I? (62)
I am
the Omniscient One.
Not one who has memorized all facts,
but one in whom
the laws of life, nature, and the cosmos
flow without obstruction.
I no longer dwell
in the state of “I don’t know.”
Questions dissolve,
conflicts loosen,
and uncertainty clears into quiet light.
Though I may not know every detail,
I do not lose my way.
This is clarity without confusion.
Principle flows through principle,
nothing blocks the path,
all is harmonious,
thus-and-so, at ease.
The Omniscient One
is the one who tore down
the wall built between self and universe.
Not seeking answers outside,
but opening the path
that was already flowing within.
See what is visible rightly,
and the invisible laws
reveal themselves without effort.
As above, so below.
As unseen, so seen.
See the roots of a tree,
and the branches are known.
See the structure of the body,
and the design of the cosmos is read.
When the four brains within me
no longer war with one another,
idle delusions and restless thoughts
fade like shadows beneath sunlight.
Through things and through nature
I see straight through the universe.
I am not special.
I have merely returned
to my original default.
The Omniscient One
was already designed as me.
All that remains
is to activate the forgotten manual.
Step out of the small slavery
that calls itself “a mere product of the universe,”
and begin by observing closely
the self and the nature
nearest to you.
