4월 첫날에 (2022)
2022년도 4분의 1이 지나갔네요.
신년 계획으로 시작했던 <고음악 365, 오늘 이 곡>도 넉 달째에 접어들었고요. 누구도 시키지도, 요구하지도 않은 일이었지만 꾸역꾸역 간신히 이어왔습니다. 때로는 즐거웠고, 때로는(사실은 주로) 힘겨웠지만 그냥 이제는 편한 친구에게 보내는 쪽지라 생각하려고요.
오늘 4월 첫날 나누고 싶은 음악은 좋아하는 영국 작곡가 존 다울랜드(John Dowland)의 류트송 'Clear or Cloudy Sweet as April Showering'입니다. '맑거나 흐리거나, 4월의 소낙비처럼 달콤해'라고 나름대로 옮겨봤는데요. 오늘 날씨가 정말 깨끗하고 맑았죠? 그러다가 가끔 부는 바람은 새침한 아가씨 같고 그렇더라고요. 영어 가사 전문 올려드립니다.
