*'희년'이란 말은 나팔 소리에서 유래합니다.
희년은 하나님이 계획하신 특별한 축하의 시기입니다.
하나님은 이스라엘 사람들에게 희년 동안 쉬라고 말씀하셨어요.
하나님은 희년에 모두가 먹을 만한 충분한 양식을 주셨습니다.
다른 사람의 노예가 된 이스라엘 사람은 희년이 되면 누구나 반드시 자유를 얻었습니다.
희년은 노예들에게 자유를 의미했어요.
다른 사람에게 빚을 갚아야 하는 이스라엘 사람은 희년이 되면 누구나 그 의무에서 해방되었습니다.
희년은 가난한 사람들에게도 자유를 의미했어요.
하나님은 그를 믿는 사람들이 필요한 것을 채워주십니다.
Jubilee is a word that means "the sound of the horn."
It is a time of special celebration planned by God.
God told the Israelites to rest during Jubilee.
God would provide plenty to eat for everyone in the Year of Jubilee.
Any Israelite who had become a slave to someone else had to be given freedom in the Jubilee.
Jubilee meant freedom for slaves.
Any Israelite who owed money to another Israelite was released from having to pay it back when the Year of Jubilee came.
Jubilee meant freedom for poor people, too!
God gives His people what they need.

*희년(Jubilee)은 50년마다 돌아오는 해로, 이 해가 되면 유대인들은 죄를 사하고 부채를 면제하며 노예를 해방했다.
