생의 무역풍 IV Trade winds of life IV (2026. Ink on Korean paper. 23X34)삶은 끝과 시작을 자연스럽게 이어가는 것이다. 그것은 그 사람의 구(舊) 의지에서 신(新) 의지로 넘어가는 흐름을 타는 것이다. 마치 지구의 대기가 밀도 차에 의해 흐르며 바람을 만들듯이, 인생에도 의지의 밀도 차에 따라 이는 무역풍이 있고 그로써 전(全) 생은 순환한다.
실질적 젊음은 괴롭지만 추상적 젊음은 즐거웁다.
고생이 세상이 주는 선물이라고 한다면, 그것은 세상이 우리에게 훗날의 멋진 추상적 젊음을 기대한다는 주문이 동봉된 것이다. 인간이 그 선물을 받들고 생의 무역풍을 타면, 그가 머무는 곳마다 은빛 산호빛 별무리들이 생의 시간 내내 그와 함께 소리 내어 주문을 노래해 준다.
Life is a natural continuation, weaving ends and beginnings together. It is about riding the current that flows from one‘s old will to a new one. Just as the Earth’s atmosphere flows and creates wind through differences in density, life has its own trade winds born from the density differences of our will, and through them, our entire existence circulates.
While lived youth is a struggle, abstract youth is delightful. If suffering is a gift from the world, it comes with an order—an expectation for the magnificent abstract youth that awaits us later. When we accept that gift and ride the trade winds of life, silvery and coral-hued stardust will sing that order aloud with us, throughout all the hours of our lives, wherever we may stay.
