무언가 커다란 것의 발길질이 작은 우리네 사소한 거리를 움직이게 한다는 것을 아는가.

나는 한동안 꿈의 우주를 겉돌다가 다시금 나의 작은 주변으로 되돌아오더라도 여전히 크디큰 둥긂들이 보인다. 이름 없는 것이 천지의 처음이라고 노자가 말했다. 태고 이후로 가장 똑똑한 지금의 인간들 조차 아직도 감히 이름 지을 수 없는 그 처음은, 그 이후의 모든 것들과 늘 함께이고 안에 숨어있으면서도 과감하게 우리에게 불어닥치기도 한다.

하찮기만 한 내 팔을 제아무리 길게 뻗어 단숨에 갈겨내어도 요 동긂은 늘 못 봐줄 만큼 성에 차지를 않네.

Are you aware that the kick of something immense sets our small, trivial streets in motion?

For a long time, I drifted through the universe of dreams, and even as I return to my modest little surroundings, I cannot stop seeing those vast, rounded forms. Lao Tzu said that the nameless is the beginning of Heaven and Earth. Even the brightest minds since the dawn of time have not dared to name that Beginning; yet it dwells within all that followed, hidden away, while at times daring to surge over us with overwhelming force.

No matter how far I stretch this feeble arm of mine to dash it down in a single breath, this circle remains so imperfect it never fails to disappoint.
