관음칠(觀音七) 입재 안내

관음칠이란? ‘관음칠’은 7일간 《법화경 보문품》을 독송하고 관세음보살 명호를 끊임없이 염송하는 집중 수행입니다. 이는 중국 선종 위앙종 전통을 이어오며, 미국 위산사에서 전법 중인 영화 스님이 직접 법문을 전하는 소중한 기회입니다. 관음칠 전 기간 참여가 어렵더라도 법문 시간에는 누구나 동참하여 질문할 수 있습니다.

What is Guan Yin Qi?

Guan Yin Qi is a seven-day intensive retreat devoted to:

Reciting the Universal Door Chapter of the Lotus Sutra (Pumen Pin),

Chanting the name of Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva (Guan Yin / Kwanseum Bosal) continuously,

Cultivating samadhi through this focused Pure Land–Seon integrated practice.

This tradition comes from the Weiyang lineage and has been faithfully maintained.
Master YongHua — currently teaching at Wei Yang temples in the U.S. — will be giving live Dharma talks during this retreat.

Special Note for International Participants

From October 3 to October 9, there will be nightly Dharma talks by Master YongHua at 7:20 PM (KST).
We warmly encourage all international participants to join these live sessions online.
This is a rare opportunity to study and practice directly with Master YongHua in real time.
