The United States will have a plan to decrease their military capabilities in overseas. When President Donald Trump came out to power, he always argued to other countries for paying military budget, even though most of US alliances, such as NATO, Japan and South Korea. Trump's thought is highly simple the reason is why US paid much more than other nations, whose already developed one. So, Trump administration has been pushing all of alliance for covering military cost for themselves.

Especially, US troops has positioned in her leading allies, who are Japan, Germany, and Korea. As of 2017, President Trump suppressed to the NATO countries to reimburse of much proportion and East Asian countries. However, in NATO, most of member states did not spend much moeny to defend themselves with the US, only four countries included in the Washington had to apply 3% of their GDP in each countries. Trump has usually expressed that European members were excessively free from security even though they had a wealth of economic power. Finally, since this month, the US determined to diminish her army in Germany.

On the other hands, Trump repeatedly urged Japan and Korea to spend a lot of defense spending, and the negotiation on defense costs have been delayed day by day. Last year, Korean government dealt with the US counterpart for matching temporary deal for a year, South Korea adopt to pay 99.5 billion KRW in 2019, its ascended proportion already. But, in this year, Trump has overwhelmingly suggested 6 times larger than before both countries signed. The aim is to make Korea pay more than current conditions, offering six times more defense costs than the previous year, and resulting negotiations are naturally postponed.

Besides, Seoul bought lots of US' weapons, those are the stretegic assets for national desense, however, US usually pushed for buying wapons by the biggest US military industrial companies. Also, it is much burden to operate alliance with the United States. The way Trump presents Korea is the same way he has given it to Europe. But, the USFK is the surest forward base capable of simultaneously striking China's major metropolitian cities as the most powerful to keep China and North Korea curbing at the same time, and its security value is more vital than any other camps.

In other words, the Trump administration believes that security worths can be replaced by simple economic assessment. Ultimately, Trump wants to reduce the burden of US defense budget throught the pressure on all allies, and maintains America's traditional military-industrial complex along with managing his own voters while increasing profits from other countries buying. Trump's typical strategic move means he will focus more on unsophisticated profits than security benefits. Most of countries, included in the United States, are feeling to deter China's power, and have the strongest power in security that does not work without the Superpower in the globe.
