1958년 8월 29일 전설의 탄생이라고 과감히 말한다.
1964년 형과 함께 음악 활동을 시작하다.

바로 전설 마이클 잭슨 (Michael Joseph Jackson) 이다.
Michael Joseph Jackson ( 1958~2009 )수많은 명곡과 수상 경력을 남겼으며
킹 오브 팝 (King of Pop)이라는 칭호를 가졌고,
오프 더 월(Off The Wall), 스릴러(Thriller), 배드(Bad) 등의 대표 앨범을 발표했다.
그런 그에게도 힘든 시기가 있었다.
1984년 광고촬영 중 사고로 인하여 백반증이라는 병에 걸려 피부 색이 변하다..
1993년, 2005년 소년 성추행 혐의로 고소를 당하고, 재판 그리고 무혐의 판결
그리고,
2009년 6월 25일.
수많은 추측과 이유에 대한 가설이 있으나,
확인으로는 잭슨의 불면증 치료를 담당 하던 의사의 프로포폴 과다 투여로 인한 심장병으로..
사망하였다.
마이클 잭슨은 7월 7일 가족 예식으로 장례를 치루며
수많은 스타들의 애도와 함께
12억 명이 시청한 추모 공식 행사로 그를 떠나보냈다.
많은 사람들이 그를 백반증으로 욕을 했으며
많은 사람들이 그를 아동 성추행범으로 욕을 했다.
그는 그러한 이유로 엄청 힘들어 했을 것이다.
정말 많이 힘들어 했을 것이다.
왜 불면증이 있었나..
그를 힘들게 한 것이 우리가 아닌지 조심스럽게 생각해본다.
그는 죽어서도 우리에게 음악을 들려줬다.
인기가 있었고 세계적으로 다시 한번 그를 생각하게 되었다.
존경하는 그에게 그 곳에서는 고민 없이 자신의 음악 하길 바란다고 전하고 싶다.
