The following questions may let you flashback and review your past:
Have you tried to meditate and concentrate on yourself and your genuine status mentally and physically? Are you satisfied with your daily life and projects ahead? Don't you follow up many trends that people mostly want to do for no reason? Are you trying to keep on the track that directs to your goals to ahieve in the future? Do you create an excuse to avoid a daily task and stay in 'comfort zone'? Can you describe what your goal is and how to accomplish very specifically? What type of life is ideal for you? How does it look like?
Michael Jordan once said 'I have to go practice', while his teammates were blasting a party in the night. You might not want to be like Michael Jordan, because success is different individually. But you must keep in mind that how the great, who all the people on earth admire, made their own success, that only few completed, was a bitter practice. If you feel lonely and just work on something fun at least for yourself, while friends are going out and having fun somewhere, you shouldn't be depressed, rather proud of yourself and believe that you are on the right way, meaning it's not drafting, but slowly running to your own success like the great had done. Just feel lucky because most people can't do like you and of course the consequence in a couple of years will reward you so dramatically, which nobody can expects. That's success.
If you set a goal, take an action immediately. Don't hesitate or make an excuse, which is toxic. It NEVER helps you out. No tomorrow. Delaying an action will delay your success as well. Want to be a writer? write something NOW. Want to have a body shape? Go workout NOW.
....Time never waits for you.
