Adopt a style guide
일반적인 회사나 조직, 또는 일정 규모 이상의 오픈소스 프로젝트는 이미 존재하는 각자의 style guide가 있다. Style Guide에 대해 접해본 적이 없다면, Google Developer Documentation Style Guide를 먼저 보고 올 것을 추천한다. 시간이 없다면 highlights를 보도록 하자.

Editing Tip
퇴고 팁들을 아래와 같이 간단하게 정리해볼 수 있다.
Read it out loud.
문체는 독서 및 글의 목적에 따라 달라질 수 있는데, 특히 비격식적인 대화체로 작성할 경우에 소리내어 읽어보는 것은 좋은 퇴고 방법이 된다. 어색한 부분이 없는지, 지나치게 길지 않은지, 말로 하기에 부자연스러운 표현이 없는지 등을 검토할 때 유용하다.

초고나 수정본을 한 번 완성한 이후에, 한두 시간 후에 돌아와 다시 검토해볼 것.
Change the context
작성한 문서를 다른 시각적 방법을 통해 다시 볼 것.
예를 들어 문서를 인쇄해서 종이로 검토하거나, 폰트/크기/색상 등을 바꿔서 보는 등 시각 자극을 바꾸면 이전에 놓쳤던 부분이 눈에 띄게 된다.
Find a peer editor
다른 사람 피드백 받기. 다만 현재 따르고 있는 style guide를 기준으로 검토해줄 수 있는 사람이어야 한다.

Determine whether or not you can simplify your document through the use of terminology that is equivalent but relatively shorter in length and therefore more easily comprehensible by your audience. It's important to make sure your document is edited before it is seen by your audience, which might include people that are less or more familiar with the matter covered by your document. The first thing you need is a rough draft. Some things that can help make your document easier to read are making sure you have links to background information, and also checking for active voice instead of passive voice. If you have long sentences you can consider shortening them or implementing the use of a list to make the information easier to scan.

Edit your document more comprehensible, for the audience not familiar with the matter covered by your document. After you write a rough draft, edit it by using following tips:
Use terminology that has the same meaning but shorter length.
→ have 쓰지 말랬다... that means the same 등으로 바꾸는 게 낫다.
Link to background information for better understanding.
Choose active voice instead of passive voice.
Shorten long sentences (e.g. Use lists.)
→ Break라는 단어를 사용하면 좋다.
