For my high school students
Good habit, attitude, wisdom
매우 상식적이고 보편적인 이야기지만 다시 힘주어 말했다.
현실이 이를 뒷받침 하지 못할지라도 마음에 새겨서 실천할 수 있기를
함께할 수 있는 시간이 제한되어 있기에 진심을 담아 전했다.

Looking back on my high school year, I was fatigued all three years. From my home to school is far away, about 12km, so I have to take a bus or subway. I should walk for 30 minutes and take the bus for 3o minutes. Every Monday to Saturday, going and coming makes me exhausted. When I go to elementary or secondary school, I just walk 30 minutes to reach my class. I did not make good lifestyle patterns in high school. When I get home from school, I've already used up all my energy and can't focus on my homework and studying. Sometimes, you guys copy homework from friends at school, which is a bad habit once I do, too. If you are not doing it alone at home, that is nothing. Good habits make you more confident students.
If you want to be wise students? You have to read a lot of books and newspapers. During a reading, you can get a lot of knowledge, common sense and think deeply. Literature makes you understand human nature, many people's situations and get compassion. The best novels, Anne Frank's Diary, Uncle Tom's Cabin, and Around the World in 80 Days, make you know world history, human dignity, dreams, and imagination to get enough second-hand experiences. That makes you a mature and brilliant person.
And I want to urge you. Go adventure! Go travel. Enjoy Akagera National Park to see live animals climb up Musanze Volcano mountain, Yunge Forest, and Kivu Lake. To feel by your foot, your nostril, and your eye, that experience makes you robust, varied, and abundant. Meet many people during your trip, and then you get actual knowledge. When I visited China, I was so surprised by the country's size, various tribes of over 50, different economic systems from Korea, and different cultures. Russia and Japan, near my country's view and lifestyle, also make a deep impression on me. Diverse, different, but unique influences my life deeply. I think profoundly and broadly.
Go to the library, museum, and gallery to see a lot of masterpieces. I teach my students how to shoot a picture, but usually, they are not good at composition and horizontality. The main reason is that you have not seen an exemplary masterpiece of paintings in your daily life.
You must read many books, broaden your experience through tours, and see good paintings and movies.
Once you fly in the air, you can see the ocean and the earth from your high position.
And then, if you need wisdom, ask God; indeed, the Holy Spirit leads you on how to live and for.
