My wish school would be
I wish Rwanda school would like this
르완다와 한국의 교육환경에는 많은 차이가 있지만 월드미션고등학교가 보다 멋진 학교로 발전하기를 바라는 마음으로 떠나기에 앞서 바람을 적어봅니다.
1. Correct time start and rest
Our school starts at 8:30; before the first class begins, we have a short worship at 8 am.
The schedule is as follows: 8:30 /9:20 / 10:10/11:00/11:50, rest 15-minute restart 12:05/12:55/13:45/14:35. During 15 minutes, all students can rest and drink milk and bread. If someone wants to go to the toilet, they have to get permission from the teacher.
After 14:35, only level 5 students can eat lunch, and the rest of the students go home starving.
My suggestion is to rearrange the timetable.
Start 8:30 to 9:20 and 10-minute break 9:30 to 10:20 / 10-minute break /10:30 to11:20 /11:30 To 12:20 / 12:20~ 13:00 lunchtime, 13:00~13:50 10-minute break, then 14:00, 15:00,16:00,16:50 finish all school times. It means abolishing milk and bread time but providing all the students with lunch.
If a change like that occurs, all the members can remember the table clearly and get enough resting time to refresh. The teacher also takes breaks during the class. Of course, lunch money is a big problem, but if we solve this issue, all the students can study more at school without being hungry.
2. Increase the facility
If you set up a small store at school to sell bread, milk, pencils, and notebooks, hungry people can buy food, and people who need notebooks can buy them; you can profit from this money.
With that money, you can invest in school welfare or give scholarships to the students.
As all members know, we have no resting room for women or men. Sometimes, we need to change clothes, and we need our privacy.
There is no resting place to lie when someone has a bad condition or falls down a classroom and elsewhere.
3. Use the library and performance hall
Regarding Africa, it isn't easy to get books and read something.
Reading a book is a fundamental knowledge access process. Still, most of all, students are not familiar with book reading or reading newspapers or magazines cause it is expensive and not easy to get books.
So I suggest investing in many books at the library and spending more time reading books.
IF multimedia students do not read books, they may not make complicated plots because they are not experienced in good storytelling in literature. They have to see a lot of artists' masterpiece drawings to get a natural understanding of photography composition size, angle, and horizontal. Without basic, we can not make building strong.
4 Try to take a test without supervision
For every assessment, teachers try to catch the cheating between students.
Students try to cheat to get a good grade by preparing papers or asking someone else.
They think Asking and helping is good and has no problems. No, that is bad behavior, very shameful habits, and crime. As a Christian school, we don't allow any form of cheating.
Even though Without a teacher, students have to be conscious of themselves.
I hope you can take the test according to your conscience, even without a teacher proctoring the test.
5. our identity
Once you come to our school, whether Christian or not, you must pride yourself and respect yourself and others. Avoid alcohol, tobacco, drugs, and violence.
I hope you love to read, study, and harmonize with each other.
A close relationship is good, but keep the line and respect each other.
If possible, study hard and make your future and society brighter.
I hope female students study harder, get stable jobs, and love somebody.
6. Royal to each member's role
We experienced that after the school chef changed, everybody enjoyed their meal and was satisfied eating. That means if every teacher, every staff member, and every member plays their role professionally, the whole school family will be happy.
Students are happy to learn, and school will glory cause of good harmony.
Keep the time for morning worship, prepare lectures with your heart, and tender care with your love.
Do your best as a principal, librarian, teacher, cook, guard, and student With the heart of standing before God.
If that happens, our school will be more gorgeous and precious in Rwanda.
